V EYE P Preston Hollow

I've been seeing Dr. Patel for 10+ years at V eye P. First at the Las Colinas location and now at Preston Hollow. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my glasses/contacts. Dr. Patel is very thorough and never makes me feel rushed. She comes up with the best recommendations and ensures my questions are answered. Her offices are updated and clean and her staff is professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

The only reason this establishment gets a star is because I was unable to post without giving a star. This was my first time at this practice, and chose it because it was close to home and seemed to be a good spot. Firstly, I was seen almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. I went ahead and ordered a 6 month supply of daily contacts through V EYE P, was told would take 5-10 business days to arrive, and at that time asked if I could get a few sample contacts to cover me while I wait for my order to arrive. I went in to the office to pay for my contact lens, which came out to $344. I was told I needed to also pay $30 for the 5 days worth of sample contacts that stated on the box "NOT FOR RESALE". I went ahead, gave my card to be charged for the grand total of $374, left, went about my day. On 11/6/24, I checked my bank account, saw that I was charged three separate charges of $374, $374, and $344. All charges were cleared, NOT PENDING. I know mistakes can happen so I reached out to V Eye P to notify them of this mistake. I was pretty much told only one charge cleared on their side, to check if it was pending/or cleared. When I let V Eye P know that the charges were cleared, I was then told to file a claim with my bank, so I did. I contacted them again last week to follow up regarding my overcharges as I had yet to be reimbursed, and was again told everything was cleared on their side. I then proceeded to write a google review, and was told by Dr. Patel that if I wanted her help in getting my money back that I would need to delete the review. I went ahead and deleted the review to try to work things out amicably, however, it was been days since then and am still getting no results. Update**** As for the response by the owner - my bank stated they are awaiting merchant response. I have yet to receive my money, and it has been over a month. I have also been told via text "Kindly ask that you stop future communication with my office. Good luck". Also now in addition to NOT having my own money owed returned to me... I am also a blatant liar according to the response below.

I have been seeing Dr Patel for over 10 years and last summer I moved out of the area and unfortunately went to a different doctor. Well I'm back six months later and will not make that mistake again. Dr Patel truly cares about her patients and takes the time to ensure you walk away not just a new pair of glasses but that you are aware of your eye health. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great eye doctor you go to Dr Patel.

I've seen Dr. Patel since moving to Dallas over 4 years now and have always received the best expertise, service and product recommendations. Valerie is great as well, and so helpful with coordinating a change request to my order promptly. I highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr Patel since I moved to DFW from LA. She is the most thorough eye doctor I've seen. I have a congenital eye condition and a chronic eye too. She is always on it recommending the best treatment plan for me, the best products for me & not just to sell a product. She cares about her patients & eye health in general. She is kind professional, and accessible. She has a number of locations & there's never been a time when she didn't squeeze me in. You can even go to her for eye issues like red red or even eye pain. I know I have.. She really is an excellent optometrist. I'm saying this sincerely. Bc I appreciate her. I don't work there. I'm not getting anything. I wanted to do this bc so many times we glaze over the good places. 5 stars!

Their staff is amazing and considerate.I got my new pair of glasses just in 3 days as I had a rush request for them to take care of. I am so thankful to them and can't thank them enough for this wonderful experience. Ashley and Adam are wonderful and helpful people there. will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

While I did not have my eye exam at V Eye P, I did fill my prescription there as it was a convenient location to my house. I ordered my glasses on March 7....never received a call or text that my glasses were in (which I was told at the time of ordering someone would reach out when they received my glasses). Fast forward to April 13th (5 weeks later) I could no longer wait for their call and decided it was time to place a call to their office myself. I was told the glasses arrived on March 21st and an appointment should have been scheduled at the time of ordering (which was not). No call or text to let me know they arrived!! If you order from them, make sure you schedule a follow up/pick up appointment!!

V Eye P of Preston Hollow is wonderful! My entire family (including my 4 year old) are seen for exams and get our glasses here; there is a decent selection of glasses too. Everyone has been very helpful and responsive - we will continue to be repeat customers.
