I have been going here for years off and on except for a brief stint when I moved away. There were a few strange things that happened this round that I feel it's necessary to share. While getting my eyes examined, I mentioned that I was suffering from slight double vision. Almost without blinking an eye he said, "it could be all the medications I am taking", followed by a giggle. He's a nice guy so it took me by surprise.I have a life-threatening disease that requires aggressive treatment. The comment felt like a judgment. While checking out very $$$$$ glasses, I was told there was a cc fee. Fair enough, I just so happened to have my check book on hand. I wrote the check and was walking out the door when one of the girls got animated about her letting me leave and told her to stop me. I asked why and she told me she had to verify the funds. (I've NEVER) bounced a check in my life). She said it quite loudly so I could hear her, as did the other patrons in the store. I can come up with 10 ways to handle that process more appropriately. It felt the same as when the drug store named all your prescription to you while you are in line. Feels inappropriate. I picked up my specs today. They rock! When she did not give me glass cleaner, I asked why. She said she was out of samples but I could buy a bottle on the counter for $10. The same size that is typically provided at no charge. Maybe it's just me but this was a first and low budget. They also did nice things. repaired an old frame so I would have a backup pair, delivered perfectly done glasses the first time and overall, the staff was very attentive otherwise, I would have given a 1.

Janine has great taste and skills to fit you in the best and most up to date fashion frames. Eyeglasses are not inexpensive. My lenses alone are the best offered with all options and run at least $700. Worth every penny for the expertise fitting and quality. I've been to other shops, this is my only optical shop I go to!

I've been coming here for at least 10 years, and Dr. Uzick is one of my favorite doctors ever. He has such a holistic approach to eye health. He doesn't silo "eyes" as a separate part of the body. He knows they're connected to the rest of our body and can show signs of deeper issues. He always takes the time for a thorough visit, and I always feel heard and seen in ways I don't with other doctors. Are their lenses and frames more expensive than elsewhere? Yes. However, I have had great service from their staff, and they always ensure I make the most out of any warranty policy on my frames or lenses.

This is my second time getting glasses here and experience is same as always. Thanks to store associate agent Carter who helped me and office manager Florence was great to work with. I will strongly recommend to come to Vision city this location for glasses in Dallas. Thanks team!

Dr Uzick and the staff here are Top Quality people selling and serving the community with excellence. We are very glad to be their customers. The location is convenient and parking is always readily available a few steps away. Appointment times are precise (for a Doctor's office) and they really care about their customers/patients. Once the exams are done and you go to the staff that fits you with the proper frames/style/comfort/price. Your satisfaction is their goal. If something breaks or needs adjusting no worries just come on by and they will fix it for you, whatever to ensure your satisfaction.

My family and I have been patients of Vision City for almost 20 years now, if not more. We live in Sachse and drive clear across town to see them. Jeanie and Florence have literally watched my kids grow up there. Dr. Cole is my optometrist, and we pick up on our conversations right where we left off from the previous visit. The staff is always great, " with an I can help you mindset, and a smile to go along with it. Vision City are like family now. Greatest service ever.

The Drs at this location are wonderful...I have seen Dr Coll for years. They also have a great selection of glasses and sunglasses. Unfortunately, I will not be back because of the front desk staff and the general manager. They have never been easy to work with, but today I tried to use my new vision insurance and they were incredibly rude and frankly, emotionally unstable. I tried for several minutes to work out the change, but finally had to just leave. I would run away from this office...there are too many others that make life much easier.

I was told by a cornea specialist I needed to have a cornea transplant if I ever wanted the possibility of having better vision. I was about to schedule this painful procedure which takes months of recovery, when a friend recommended I see Dr. Uzick before I decided to have the surgery. I did! He said he would try everything he could to keep me from having the surgery. He recommended Jupiter contact lens. I had never heard of this type of lens, but anything was better than surgery. I was fitted for the lens, and after adjusting the fit and prescription, I wore them home last week. It's incredible! I have 20/20 in my left eye and almost the same in my right. I can even see at night! Dr. Uzick is the best. He takes his time and treats each patient like family.
