Our oldest son (11) had some eye drift that was noticeable and also complaints of one eye seeing brighter than the other. Dr Shulkin and his staff not only calmed all of us down, they answered all questions, remembered details about us that made us feel like family, and they were EXTREMELY efficient and got right to the point. Surgery was very routine and went extremely well. We highly recommend this nationally known doctor to everyone! We trusted him with our child and he didn't disappoint us. He impressed us.

The staff is so welcoming and inviting which is always a reflection of the Doctor in my opinion. Dr. Shulkin is professional and highly skilled but most importantly he's kind and present with my son during each and every appointment. He speaks directly to him and treats him like he's his #1 patient during every visit. Again, his support staff is phenomenal. They're always ready and prepared when you enter their office. There's also never a long wait. We need to clone Dr. Shulkin and his staff! If we can't do that, perhaps they can teach a class on medical professionalism!

Dr. Shulkin helped my mom with her eyelid diagnosis and referred her to phenomenal doctor to address further rheumatologic issue. Really appreciate his professionalism, care and attention. Highly recommend him with all our friends and family.

This review is LONG overdue. When I say, I love Dr. Shulkin, I LOVE Dr. Shulkin! He is the doctor that you pray you encounter or are referred to when you need care. He's compassionate, caring, decisive, knowledgeable, empathetic, excellent bedside manner, and just an overall good human being. He's not overzealous when outlining potential treatment plans, follows exceptional standard of care, and he respects you as a patient. You have a voice in his practice. Dr. Shulkin has been my husband's provider for more than five years and we have never been more pleased. My husband recently underwent a surgery with a team of surgeons that included Dr. Shulkin. While the surgery was somewhat complex, we never once had anxiety about the procedure because Dr. Shulkin was there. He was extremely responsive and met all of my husband's medical needs during post-op follow up at the surgery center and followed up once we were home. We truly felt and always feel like we are the only patient that matters when we see Dr. Shulkin. There is no other doctor like him, FULL STOP! Likewise, Dr. Shulkin's staff is amazing and consistent. They're always warm, friendly, and timely. When we visit the practice, we have never been in the office more than an hour. We feel like our time is valued. I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years and I can say unequivocally that Dr. Shulkin is the best of the best. He surrounds himself with other top-notch clinicians, too. No need to worry as they're creme de La creme. If you're looking for a doctor who really cares and can make a difference in your optical health, Dr. Shulkin (and team) is the only option!

I cannot thank Dr. Shulkin and his team enough! I noticed my double vision a few years ago, and over time my condition worsened to the point where daily activities--especially driving--became increasingly difficult. It was frustrating and even a little scary. From my very first appointment, Dr. Shulkin made me feel confident I was in the right hands. He is extremely straightforward in the best possible way. He laid out everything honestly--the risks, the benefits, and exactly what he was planning to do during surgery--while also taking the time to sit with me and answer every single one of my questions. That combination of honesty, clarity, and patience gave me a lot of peace of mind. His staff deserves just as much praise. They were warm, compassionate, and attentive, which made the entire process far less intimidating. I never once felt rushed or like "just another patient." What impressed me the most was the follow-up. Just two days after my surgery, Dr. Shulkin personally called me to check in. It wasn't a rushed call--he truly wanted to make sure I was doing well and that all of my concerns were addressed. That level of care is rare and meant so much to me. Thanks to Dr. Shulkin's skill and the support of his amazing team, my eyesight has been restored. I feel like I've gotten my quality of life back, and I am beyond grateful for their expertise, kindness, and dedication. Went to Dr. Shulkin for eye muscle surgery and cannot express enough how happy I am with the results. All the journey was fairly quick and smooth, all the personnel is really nice and really loved Dr. Shulkin's directness and efficiency. Totally recommended!!

There are no words to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Shulkin and his team. I've had a large chalazion in my lower eyelid for months. It was partially drained at another practice, and I began to worry that I'd be stuck with the remainder forever. I called in and spoke with Dr. Shulkin, naively thinking the process would go on for months as it sometimes does in some countries. He offered to remove it there and then, which caught me by very pleasant surprise. I gladly agreed and the procedure was done with the utmost professionalism and precision. Never thought I'd say this but the entire chalazion is gone and my eye is quickly mending. Highly recommend Dr. Shulkin for anyone that is looking for someone they can trust to listen and take great care of the problem.
