Dr Shaffron is very knowledgeable with a pleasant personality. I highly recommend him. There is a lot of waiting, though. About 3 hours for a general exam. I think it was worth it. He was very thorough and has amazing state of the art equipment .

Several months ago I ordered a pair of glasses from advanced eyecare optical department and I went in for an adjustment a couple of weeks ago. Both times I dealt with the same technician, Violet, who provided outstanding service. She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and has very good people skills. She answered my questions and gave me all the information I needed. She is truly a great asset to the optical department.

Everyone was extremely nice and so personable!! From the 4 little rooms I went into each person greeted you so nicely and told you exactly what they were doing before they did it which was extremely helpful with all of the different lights and flashes !! This was my first time meeting Dr. Ackerman and I loved his personality and his energy. He seems extremely knowledgeable about his field. I will definitely be returning in a year and sooner if needed!!!

Doctors are great, but the office staff, specifically insurance/billing department, is a disaster! I will NEVER go back because of the staff! Every time I went they were adamant about collecting my co-pay, even though we had met out Family Max Out of Pocket. I refused. And made them reconfirm my benefits. Even though it was right there in front of them, she could NOT say "sorry, I see that now" She said "we will just bill you then." When I left, I knew I would have to find another Dr because I was NEVER going back there.
Then they called about 500 times in the last 3 months to make an appointment for my checkup. I told them I would not be returning to the office and to stop calling.
Today, I received a bill for a $50 no show/reschedule fee! Did I mention that the billing department is a disaster! After being on hold for 20 minutes, they agreed "to waive that fee and take me off their list."

Dr. Eckhart did my cataract surgeries and they turned out great. My vision cleared so much barely requiring glasses after, mostly for reading and very minor distance ... ... ... I purchased glasses from their vision center and Josh did a great job helping me get a perfect pair of RayBan glasses ... ... ... I recommend both Dr. Eckhart and Josh highly.

I I'm very pleased as I walked out of there with my yearly eye check up, all staff was very clear and professional. I felt verycomfortable with Dr. Ackerman's explanations. My experience at the optical department was extraordinary! Violet went a step above and beyond to make sure I picked the right glasses for my needs, comfort, and liking. That was a long and hard decision since it was my first pair of glasses I have ever picked. I am sure my investment is very much worth it, and I feel very happy with my selection. Thanks to the detailed help of the optical department.
