Dr. Ackerman is a great caring person/doctor. Thanks to him my vision is 20/20. My cataract surgery was a complete success and the recovery period was amazing. After forty years of wearing glasses I no longer have to wear them.

Dr. Ackerman is polite and courteous. He took the time to explain the procedure and what would take place. I was in absolute awe the day after my surgery that I was able to see things I haven't seen in ages. Looking forward to having him do the other eye.

I had a great experience seeing Dr. Ackerman for an eye exam, and my kids did as well. He was patient, kind and extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain why I was experiencing changes in my vision. He even used visuals so I could fully understand the science behind what was going on. I would 100% recommend going to him if you need an eye exam or have any vision issues.

I had cataract surgery on my right eye on January 31st and on my left eye on February 21st with no problems. With both surgery I was well informed. During the surgeries Dr. Ackerman also kept me informed every step of the way. A very good experience. Great staff at Shiloh Eye Clinic.

Dr Ackerman performed my cataract surgery and did an excellent surgery. This was the 2nd surgery and he has performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I am extremely happy with the way my eyes have changed a my eye sight is great. Dr. Ackerman is a highly trained professional and would recommend him to anyone needed any type of vision correcting surgery. Also he has the best staff of ladies in his office that take care and make sure to assist you to better vision. I rate them 10+ stars.

I am 100% happy with Dr Ackerman skill, competency, knowledge, experience, confidence, sincerity and integrity. My wife and I both feel he not only has found his purpose in life, but is sincerely grateful to have the ability and opportunity to put the enjoyment expressed by his patients as uppermost importance in helping them see clearly and in some cases for the first time. I am also very impressed that he not only does LASIK surgery, but teaches at the university. In his own words he said he realized long ago his hands were his most valuable asset and decided no more sports or activities like surfing would take precedence over his dedication to help others with eye care. He shared that he is married with 3 children including twins and his wife is a nurse. He has a natural talent and energy that is readily apparent and perceived. My mother had her left eye and right eye surgery and her visions are way better than before. I give Dr. Ackerman credit he's above and beyond. Anyone who's looking to get their vision back go see Dr. Ackerman, he's super great and very good doctor and cares about his patients.
