Dr Lawrence Shafron, M.D. is an excellent physician for more that twenty years I've been a patient twice a year and have seen my vision slowly deteriorate with ago and each time Advanced Eye Care has detected the change and made adjustment. His practice is easy to find, appointment are required and I personally won't be seen by no other.....

Absolutely the best. He has been my doctor for years. He explains everything clearly and listens to questions and concerns.

Everyone was excellent Dr Shafron did my cataract surgery and I am extremely pleased with the outcome The doctor is highly experienced and was very thorough answering my questions I noticed that a few of his reviews indicated a long wait in his office. Unfortunately for the most part that is a fair assessment. However I can put up with that inconvenience based on the level of care I received

This is from Pete May on my experience taking my 95 Year old mother to see Dr. Shafron. Her appointment was scheduled for 4 Pm, Tuesday May 21st, 2024. At 5pm she called me to say she was in a waiting room in the back of the office with a group of disgruntled patients all of which had been waiting an hour plus at that point for their appointments. At 7:15 as the last patient we were taken back to the exam room where we waited another 20 minutes. We left the office close to 8:30. This makes me wonder if Dr. Shafron would treat his elderly mother in this manner since he showed a total disregard for his patients time. You schedule us to an appt to suit your schedule then disrespect our time. Shame on you. If you can't conduct your business better than this you should consider another line of work!

I just had the worst appointment that I've ever had! I drove 40 minutes to get there, waited in the waiting room an hour and 15 minutes before being taken back. After the preliminary workup Dr Hadi Abusaad came in to see me and was in the room, maybe 2 minutes. He told me my vision problem was makeup debris in my eyes and that my eyes were dry, and then he left. He was rushed and clearly couldn't be bothered with me! My appointment was scheduled for 1:30, shortly after lunch. How they could have been that far behind is hard to comprehend, especially when they only spend 2 minutes per patient! Unbelievable!

They are wonderful.. until there's a problem and then they won't talk to you. My husband and I have been going to this practice for a couple of years and were very happy. Then I had a problem with the prescription they gave me for my glasses. I could not see with them, and I was told "maybe there's something wrong with my eyes!" Really!? The office manager would not speak to me after numerous attempts to resolve the issue. The doctors were unwilling to address the problem. How do you resolve an issue when you are unwilling to talk to the patient!? We will not be going back! My advice - find a practice that actually cares about their patients' satisfaction and care.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Coming from 30 years of healthcare including owning my own practice, never ever should it take over three hours to see a physician for a regular eye exam. Keeping my 93 year-old mom waiting out there with no explanation is inexcusable. The appt times are extremely close together and the physicians spend less than 10 minutes with you once you finally get to see them. Run very fast the other way.

During my eye exam, the technician flashed the choices so rapidly that it was impossible to provide an accurate answer. The terrible eye glasses I finally received required constant maintenance. Coming to this clinic has been a terrible experience. The left lens on the glasses fell out constantly and was lost twice. I've worn glasses for about 50 years, and this is the worst experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this amateur office to anyone. Don't waste your time or your money.
