Honest Eye Doctor - Georgetown

A few words to describe Honest Eye Doctor in Georgetown... courteous, caring, professional. Everyone that I talked to was courteous and helpful. The staff took great care to make me feel comfortable during the entire process of my visit. Then Dr. Freeland conducted a very thorough exam. During the exam she showed me pictures of my eyes and took time to help me understand the good things and the bad things about my eyes. I had never encountered a doctor who explained to me all the details in such a clear and straightforward way. I will recommend this place to all my friends and encourage them to get there eye exam here.

Today I went in for a glaucoma exam and I learned so much. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. It was so nice that the doctor took as much time as I needed to explain things to me. I feel she really cares about my eyes. I will definitely continue to use and recommend them.

The doctor was professional and helpful (5 stars). The individual that set up the exam was professional (5 stars). The woman that made the appointment was professional, but not friendly (not a requirement, but definitely helps if the office is looking for repeat business). Overall, I will return if needed. I really enjoyed meeting Dr Freeland. She was professional , personable and easy to talk with. I've know Laurie a long time and she is always very nice. I didn't get the tech's name but she took care of me well. I appreciated the great care I received today! Thanks!

they've essentially robbed me and the supervisor/manager refuses to contact me. i've paid for an eye exam for both contacts and glasses, gone through 4 exams and still do not have a glasses prescription that i can see clearly through. i went in oct 6 2025 for an eye exam for both contacts and glasses. got my prescription, ordered contacts. i ordered glasses a month later due to funds. i did not use the new prescription contacts until mid december 2025 and thats when i realized the prescription was wrong as my vision was not clear, but still blurred and slightly doubled. dec 26 2025 i went in to redo the exam. the prescription was still not correct. i went in jan 5 2025 to redo the exam. this appt, Dr. Lauren Freeland told me verbatim "this is the best it's gonna get". after ensuring her that i've definitely had clearer prescriptions than this in the past, she examined again and altered the prescription again. they didn't have the contacts in store in the prescription they gave me. they ordered them saying they'd give me a call when they're in. jan 15 2026 the contacts came in. i was not called like they said they would or told until i called on jan 23 2026. so i made another appt on jan 26 2026, which was cancelled due to the freeze. jan 30 2026, i went in for another retry. again, same thing with the contacts, i had to wait for them to be in. was not called when they came in, i had to call feb 9 2026 and find out they were already in. now, having my glasses with the prescription they claim is correct is straining my eyes and causing headaches when worn too long. i've had them fitted, refitted, adjusted and readjusted and nothing has helped. it's ridiculous and appalling that i paid to see clearly, get told that "this is the best it gets", still not have a correct prescription after 3 months supervisor/manager, please contact me as i would like a refund for at least the glasses exam so i can go elsewhere that will get it right on the first time.

Staff is very friendly and efficient. I have been seeing this doctor for about 5 years and always refer family to her.

Cane was amazing! He was very welcoming from the moment me and my family came in through the door. He is a true gem to this facility!
