This business is very professional. The nurses and office people are on top of their game
I was very anxious about getting my cataract removed. Dr Caleb Sawyer walked me through every step of the process. I had no pain and I can see extremely well. I highly recommend this doctor and the facility.
Just a heads up. Doctors are great and staff is excellent but expect to wait at least an hour after your appointment time to see the doctor. Punctuality is not their forte. Very disrespectful.
I have been a patient at Sawyer Eye Center for several years. I can honestly say that I have had nothing but an excellent experience with each appointment. The level of care and professionalism from the entire staff is commendable. Dr. Caleb Sawyer truly cares about his patients and Granbury, Texas is fortunate to have the level of eye care offered by Dr. Caleb and his associates. I highly recommend Sawyer Eye Center to anyone looking for eye care assistance.

I have been contemplating getting mono Laskis for years now and decided 2021 is the year. Choosing a doctor was the next challenge. Dr. Sawyer and his team are amazing. From the initial visit to the actual surgery was a great experience as they were all very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They took good care of me and made me comfortable during my procedure and post-op care. Thank you for my #VISIONFREEDOM
EPIC FAIL!! Complete and utter chaos. Initial visit 4 hours, scheduled eye surgeries with lens upgrade, with the addition of stents for glaucoma. Received a call informing me that the provider would be going on maternity leave; as a result, surgeries would be scheduled a month apart. This would not have been a viable option. I was given the option to switch providers with minimal changes to dates. The scheduled Pre-Op appointment became yet another NEW evaluation (multiple repetitive exams). During this visit, a comprehensive overview of all aspects of surgery-related topics was discussed. Dr. C Sawyer answered questions that I didn't even know to ask. This was quite a relief, and lulled me into a false sense of security. At this time, Dr. Sawyer informed me that my insurance carrier would not cover stents because they were deemed experimental and not medically necessary. He went on to state that someone should sue them so patients could receive the care they truly need. Please note that at this point, I had not had the opportunity to conduct thorough research on the standard of care regarding glaucoma. Knowing that surgery was moving forward without the additional stent placement. No harm, no foul... but that was wishful thinking on my part. Received a call Friday before the holiday weekend, stating Dr. Sawyer has placed a pin in the procedure since the request was given to office staff to get the DENIAL from the insurance company. The man was hoping someone would sue BC/BS, but canceled my services when a simple request for documentation of the denial was made? Hummmm... Wait What? The office staff stated he would be in the following Monday, the day before the scheduled surgery. So it could happen if he was comfortable moving forward and the word 'SUE' was mentioned (by him, mind you). Way to be the change, sir... DO BETTER. I later found out that the insurance carrier would have never covered the glaucoma stents because other, much less invasive options hadn't yet been tried. Additionally, the staff members were lackluster, completely rude, dismissive, and displayed a lack of empathy and critical thinking skills. Canceled services with no value for others' time or their pocketbook. Eye drops ordered from a specialty pharmacy, as well as high-dollar OTC mandatory drops. ABANDONMENT OF CARE is undoubtedly my first thought. Here I am wandering through life with ZERO peripheral vision, walking into walls, migraines, etc., since wearing contacts is not allowed before the procedure.
Cataract surgery was a great experience.
Dr. Sawyer prayed over me for each eye.
