1960 Eye Surgeons

Cannot even get them on the phone to make an appointment!! Was hung up on 4 times!! Negative stars if I was able, 2 hours wasted trying to schedule an appointment for my father.

I went to Dr Anwar at the Cypress location. At first I was a little thrown off because it looks like an optometrist office. But his staff assured me he was an ophthalmologist. I went because I had a bump on my upper eyelid for at least 3 months. I made this appointment to make sure it wasn't anything serious. Since I didn't have insurance I was going to schedule its removal later. At my surprise he did everything at the visit. No extra charge. It was a big relief. I will definitely go back to him. He was so kind and gentle and talked me through everything. I have major anxiety and he kept me calm.

I was very impressed with my overall experience. They were able to do a same-day appointment and took my insurance over the phone to make the check in process easier. The doctor and each team member I encountered were all very professional, kind and proficient. Dr. Renno was able to diagnose my issue, perform the procedure within the same visit and my eye has completely healed. I would highly recommend Dr. Renno and this office as they are 5-star.

I am scheduled for cataract surgery on March 29, 2018. During my March 8 appointment I was informed that Sena Pharmacy would call me to schedule delivery of my pre-op medications. On March 9 I talked to Sena and was told the medications would be delivered on Monday, March 12. I was also told I would receive a phone call from the delivering representative when he or she was close to my home. By 4:30PM, Monday, March 12, I had not heard from Sena so I called the pharmacy. I was told the medications were being held for me to pick up. I informed the woman that both 1960 Eye Surgeons and Sena Pharmacy had previously said the meds would be delivered to me. The medications are now scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, March 13 between 12 noon and 6 PM. I asked Sena to set a priority for my delivery, but they wouldn't commit to a smaller window. Now I have to sit around a second day for my meds. This is unacceptable service. Even the cable companies have narrowed their service windows to two hours.

Have been going here for many years and have no complaints. I really like Dr. Thomas Markus. He spends as much time with you as needed. I like the Willowbrook location best... much more than the Cypress locations. Staff are better there.

My husband and I have trusted our eye care to Dr Markus for many years. They are really good and the staff is awesome.
