Abedin Saeid MD

Dr Abedin is very thorough, he takes time to exam, explain and answer questions you may have. It was my first visit with him for full eye examination and prescription glasses which will be ready in few days. I strongly recommend him. I have follow up visit with him in mid April. I will be adding more information after my visit

I have been going to Dr Abedin for well over ten years and I now drive from Conroe. He is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. Plus, Sarcus is the best for eye glass and contact lenses fittings. I have been going to optometrists and ophthalmologists almost all my life and I have not have any better.

I've been seeing Dr Abedin, probably over 20 yrs-- a very dedicated, honest, capable and conservative Dr. He did laser surgery, many years ago, to control eye pressure, due to Glocoma. Years later, cataract surgery on both eyes. Started having a vision problem caused by a bad Cornea. I was told by Dr Fish, that I needed a transplant! Dr Abedin told me I was not a candidate, as my eyes are allergic to steroid. I asked him if it would be ok, for me, to get another opinion -- he sent me to the Alkek EyeCenter to a Cornea Transplant Dr, Dr Matoba, she said she could control the eye pressure, but she could not!, Another Dr out there put a shunt over a mussel in the eye to move fluid to the back of the eye too lower eye pressure, the shunt caused my eye to drop and move too the right. After two surgeries to anchor the eye, I still have double vision in the eye and will have the rest of my life. SO PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT DR ABEDIN TELLS YOU!!!

The optometrist made glasses fro me in May 2018 and said " here, now you can see everything in your cubicle. I could all ready see everything in my cubicle just fine. I could not read my computer or phone screen. I returned them immediatly. I asked for a refund of the $200 plus dollars I paid . I have called several times requesting my refund and over a year later I still do not have my money. The last time I called I was told I needed to come back for an appointment to discuss my refund. They refuse to just issue the refund.

Been going to this doctor for nearly 20 years. I'd give 5 stars, but I had to knock off a star on account of me being deathly afraid of pokes in the eye so I can't say "loved it".
