America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My parent just got scammed here. Order 2 glasses, but when they came in to pick up, the technician said they only pay for one glasses despite the order requested were for 2. When they request to see the order request, they refused. They then offer to sell them another cheap pair for $30 as a special discount. The staff here are not professional and will use trick to get the sale. Be aware.

Worst experience EVER. I went for an eye exam in July and purchased two pairs of glasses. Received the glasses in August and noticed that the prescription wasn't very clear....so i was scheduled to come back for another eye exam....got the eye exam and a new prescription. Received the remake for one pair of my glasses and they were fine. By this time we are in the month of September...I received my second pair of glasses from the remake....i wore them for a week or so and noticed that the prescription was off...I experienced headaches, dry eyes and dizziness from trying to adjust to the prescription...at this point we are at the end of September....So from here I called to inform the location that I couldn't see out of the glasses and was informed to come on to check them out....When they compared the two sets of glasses...it was determined that they were two different prescriptions...thats not even the kicker...there was a total of 3 prescriptions and i only had my eyes examined twice...i was not offered to be compensated for distress and inconvenience and or given an apology....only a refund. I requested to speak with the DM and never heard from anyone...moral of the story...I will NEVER GO TO THEM AGAIN!!!!! Horrible customer service.

Super unprofessional I feel like no one is on the same page. I got a contact exam and was given the office trial pair until my actual prescription trial came in. I was told wear them for a week and if they good they'll order my regular prescription. I've been calling and calling. Talked to about 3 different people who were all so confused. Why would I be calling about a trial pair when I was seen dang near a month ago. I don't work there so it's up to them to be clear with directions. Mind u I've been going here for years and never had a problem until I came to this Houston location. Dallas would never

Absolute worst customer service. Been a customer for years and I ordered contacts thru them which take 2 weeks to come into the store. I personally ran out of contacts they wouldn't even give me a trial pair so I can go to work and be able to see and live my daily life. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Very rude

I brought my daughter in for an exam and glasses. Qualayshia was amazing! She was so patient with her and gave her advice on which frame fit her face the best. This was the smoothest experience ever had. We I'll definitely be back to this location for all our exams and glasses!!! The Manager Brachelle was amazing as well!!

Best American Best I have ever been too!!! The receptionist was welcoming!!! The assistant was so kind with the pre-check & quick on the eye image machine, which I am always nervous about!! Dr. Dorothy did an amazing job explaining my eye prescription and answer all my questions!! Bercehlle did a great job in assisting us with glasses purchase and explaining all the deals in the store! We love transparency and exceptional care!! Highly recommended this American Best for your eye care needs!!!

Only gave 2 stars because they have a nice selection of glasses. However, customer service could be better, would also like to see more professionalism as well. Glasses did not fit my face. Their solution was for me to go on Amazon and purchase clips to hold glasses up. That is NOT a solution. I just asked for a refund, will be taking my business elsewhere!

I have alwats had a great experence at America's Best but this year I received the upmost service from berchelle. She went above and beyond excellent customer service. She was gracious, caring, knowledgeable and all of the things needed to make an excellent employee.
