Aric Welton, O.D. - Diagnostic Eye Center

Dr. Welton is excellent, period. A+ bedside manner, A+ listener, A+ knowledge and expertise, A+ tone and communication, A+ warmth and courtesy to his staff. He excels in every area as my optometrist. I recently returned to Texas after living away for several years and knew I would reestablish care with him rather than seek eye care in my local area. I drive two hours one way for my appointments with him because having an established relationship with a healthcare provider who understands my somewhat tricky eyecare needs is paramount. I don't know if he is currently accepting new patients but if you are in the Houston area and need an exceptional optometrist, especially if you have more complicated eye care needs, he provides the best possible care.

I've been going to Diagnostic Eye Center for over 7 yrs and I'm always pleased with the level of care and attention I receive. They remind/confirm appts, are always on time in the office. The staff from the front desk, techs, doctors to billing/scheduling are always pleasant and professional. They listen to my concerns and work with me which I value greatly. There's always parking too without having to pay which is a bonus.

Updating my review for a second time: Though you can't do better than five stars, I'd like to note the service I received today, for the first time since becoming a patient here years ago, with Dr. Bell, was also exceptional. Yet another exceptional experience with yet another exceptional optometrist. Updating my review, keeping the five stars, and making an addition: Not only is Dr. Welton an excellent doctor, but the glasses store on-site is run by extremely kind and helpful people (as is the office itself, and Jessica who works there). It's very sleek, clean, and pleasant aesthetically as well. Bravo all around to this entire office and the work they do here. Excellent experience here. Dr. Welton is a kind and caring doctor. I asked him a million questions and he took time to answer every one of them patiently and in great detail. The office itself is very cozy and well run. Glad I found it.

Dr. Welton is a great doctor but more importantly a great person. He spends time with you and really cares about the health of your eyes. He remembers small details years later, that says a lot about his character and commitment to his profession.

Dr. Welton and Noor were fabulous at my yearly checkup. They are very thorough, share all the right information, and answer all my questions. I am very happy with Dr. Welton and Diagnostic Eye Center.

Very patient, knowledgeable doctor. He takes the time to address all of your concerns. Diagnostic Eye Centers has the latest technology. Office staff is also knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Welton, and the rest of the staff for your glasses, contact lens, and lasik needs!

My experience with Dr Welton was very pleasant. He tried specialty contact lens (Scleral lens) for me and I'm extremely satisfied with my vision and comfort these lenses are giving me. I have a severe keratoconus in both my eyes, usually it is very challenging to get a good fit for these kind of cases, but Dr Welton made it quick and hassle free, within in very short span i got adjusted to these lens very well. Now I was able to drive home from work in the dark :). I would definitely recommend Dr Welton if your looking for a good contact lens Optometrist.

Had a bad eye infection and needed to see someone ASAP...he had an opening and they got me in. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. Did a thorough exam and took the time to discuss everything with me. Definitely recommend! Also doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes haha...pun intended. :)
