I saw Dr. Mascardo recently and really appreciated how thorough he was with trying to diagnose and resolve the persistent issue I had with my eye. He took the time to listen to my concerns and make sure the treatment plan was going to be sustainable for me in the long term. I had an emergency from a steroid injection that gave me bad side effects with my vision from a medical procedure. It was actually pretty serious and I had to get treatment for several months to prevent glaucoma. I came to CE Eye Care and the staff along with Dr. Samuel Mascardo are simply incredible. They are friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Dr, Mascardo patiently explains every step in the process of your specific treatment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their high-tech OPTOS imaging gives you a detailed look at your eyes in seconds--no dilation needed! I left feeling confident that my vision is in great hands and would highly recommend.

I want to share my experience to hopefully help improve the process for future patients. I came in hoping to find the right contact lens fit for my astigmatism and dry eyes, but the process ended up being far more extensive and frustrating than expected. Despite multiple trials, we were unable to find a solution that worked, and I eventually felt as though my case was given up on rather than resolved.
I understand that complex fits can take time, but communication and persistence are key in these situations. Unfortunately, I left feeling discouraged and uncertain about next steps. Because of this experience, I would hesitate to refer anyone with special fitting needs to this location, as I didn't feel that adequate effort or follow-up was made to reach a proper solution.
