Excellent customer service. Rosemary and Yelena are amazing in their knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help. I am so thankful for their guidance in choosing my first pair of reading glasses. They went above and beyond, and I would recommend them and the Costco Vision Center. The selection of frames have great prices too.
Giving a very low rating because the quality of their progressive lens is terrible! Extremely blurred peripheral vision. No way I can drive or even walk wearing the two pairs I bought. I asked if they had different levels of progressive lenses for quality and I was told they only offer top quality. What a joke. Returning both for a full refund. The lady was very nice but I would never buy glasses there again. Very misleading. Going back to Walmart where I got my last pair.
My Rx behooves me to get specialty lenses (mostly for vanity because I don't want to wear coke bottles), which cost a lot of money. I'd never considered buying glasses at a Costco Vision Center until a couple weeks ago. They had a surprisingly nice selection of frames for big guys like me at very reasonable prices so that was a good start. And then I was surprised by how inexpensive the specialty lenses would be. I ended up paying less than half of what I normally pay for a pair of glasses. Plus, they came in earlier than anticipated and were well-crafted. In the totality of this transaction I engaged with 3 different opticians and found them all to be helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'll be turning to them for my eyewear needs from now on.
Note: I did not get my Rx from the opthalmologist located in this store. I recognize they are independent from the Costco Vision Center so my review completely excludes him/her/they.
Always great for my contacts and lenses and the best prices too. They we're recommended by my optometrist and I've been using them for over 15 years. Sometimes they are short staffed, but they have been professional, helpful, and awesome! I appreciate everyone in the vision center!
I went to Costco Optical at Willobrook on Sunday Feb 11th around 2:30pm and had the displeasure of speaking to rude, short temper, and aggressive optical department female staff member, I think her name is Leticia or something like that, hispanic. Her first approach was "what do you want? No greeting, bad manners terrible customer service, a few more words and I decided not to continue my interaction with her, and I just said I rather talk to someone else, even if it meant a longer wait; she immediately threatened to make some notes on my account..! She had some nerve, rude and aggressive.Time to retrain or to remove that person from any customer contact area. I waited for the next staff member available and spoke with Austin, who was super professional, caring and efficient.!
Whatever lab makes the lens, are not making them as the prescription states. Had to have my glasses checked by my eye doctor. She said they weren't made correctly and to ask for a refund if it comes back wrong the second time. I bought two pairs and the lab made both incorrect.
Costco eyeglasses are a lot cheaper than boutique and many big chain stores. Yet, the optometrists at Costco used to be the cheapest in town, but now among the most expensive, plus they are incompetent too, skipping many procedures and giving wrong prescription numbers, sometimes way off. Walmart and Target exams are only $60-$75 while Costco optometrists' prices range from $110-$135 and for just routine eyeglass, not comprehensive and contact exams.
This would be the worst Costco experience for me. Took over 30 minutes to order contact lenses and I got there once they open the store, thought it was gonna be like 5 minutes thing...The new lady doesn't have proper training and she doesn't know what she is doing or saying. Everything she did was incorrect basically...
