Great place! Friendly staff and Dr. Coombs was extremely descriptive and thorough with my eye exam. The Dr spent time with me to discuss any issues and left plenty of room for questions incase there were some. Didn't feel rushed to leave. Staff described each equipment, their purpose, and what to expect. Best appointment I've had in a long while, and was easy to set up over the phone. Exam room and front of house was clean as well.

What an absolute amazing experience! From the front desk receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly to my very last step! I've never been to an eye doctor that is so detailed, explains everything about the eyes plus more and what's actually going on. Dr. Kerri-Ann listens and encourages questions even if you think they're silly! The amount of patients she took with me to assure my contact lenses were correct is unbelievable! She is very professional and still seen all of her patients in the process. She communicated every step and didn't rush me out the door. Thank you for the wonderful eye doctor visit for my children and me. Even though they originally thought they were getting a "shot," they ended up having a great experience. I truly appreciate your patience with my family and for helping us find the right eyewear--especially for my daughter, since this is her first time wearing glasses. And thank you for introducing me to the back stoppers for my frames; I had never heard of them before, but they're already helping keep my glasses from sliding. This place is amazing. This was my 1st time ever getting an eye exam. The staff was awesome & very informational. I learn a few things about myself on my visit & ended up needing glasses. On my return visit to pickup my glasses, i tried them on i was in shocked. Once I left out I was able to see 2 ants playing on the concrete. I's can see now. Thank You

My kids and I have been patients of Dr. Coombs for the past 4 years. She's knowledgeable, makes a difference in the community as well as in other countries, her office is cozy, and comforting. As long as she's in business we will continue to get her eyes checked by her and her staff. I also love the fact that she takes a holistic approach to your overall health goals.

She also makes sure you get the eyewear that fits YOU. In addition, she specializes in contact fitting (which my son wears), and her encouragement helped him overcome his nervousness of placing contacts in his eyes. Bridget, who assists Dr. Coombs, is a pleasure to communicate with and always has a smile on her face when I enter. She answers all questions and explains the reasons behind each eye test. Dr Kerri-Ann is the best!! I have been going to see her for 3 years now and we have THE BEST TIME at our appointments. She is extremely knowledgeable, answers all my questions, and teaches you how to take care of your eyes from the inside out. Healthy Life, Healthy Eyes!

When I went to get my glasses the receptionist was very nice and cordial. The experience with the doctor was nice as well. The receptionist told me I could save some money by reusing frames that I already had. That way, I was only using my lens allowance and still had my frame allowance through my insurance. I thought to myself 'I'm definitely coming back here.' Well, my glasses broke and I took them back to the store I originally got them from to get them replaced. I tried to use my frame allowance and was told that I couldnt use it because I got contacts at the previous doctor. I was like huh? Long story short, DeCordova billed my insurance wrong. Optometrists can actually charge more for contacts than for glasses and lenses. I went to DeCordova and explained the situation. The receptionist remembered me and went to explain to the doctor. She came back and told me that she can order the glasses, BUT i would have to pay extra!!!! i said "absolutely not!!" They got the glasses for me. Then i had to wait 3 weeks to get the replacement glasses. I called them and was told 'I was just about to call you.' Not going back there. Sadly, because I like to support black business.
