I should have read the reviews. Dr. Garcia is a very nice doctor, but upon arriving, the front desk was definitely chaotic-one patient got up and complained about the wait time, very loudly. After waiting, the technician was very unprofessional and had to call in another individual to dilate my eyes. It seemed she was new on the job..she spoke more about not wanting to be at work than anything else.
I know my insurance, but they insisted I had to make a payment. Ok, I made the payment, but have since been billed, again, even though they stated they had run my insurance.
It's always sad when it starts out not great. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is too much. I assume they have been there for years, and have returning patients. But as for new patients, I would say --keep looking, read reviews!
Service at this location is very poor, my father went in for eye exam and glasses and they were very inefficient in completing the correct prescription for his glasses. They had three opportunities to rectify the glasses prescription, never apologized, and to date we are still waiting, the service was somewhat good by the counter personnel but the execution of their clinical personnel is flat out poor. We have moved to a more efficient locale. If you opt to go here for your eye care needs, you go at your own peril!!
Terrible assistance. Many stressful situations in the last two years.
The most recent episode was yesterday. After I called 3 times, I am still waiting for the prescription my son needs for his contact lenses. The oftalmologist (I prefer to do not give his name) saw my son twice in order to give him the precise formula, he gave him two trials to decide which one is better. Well, I called to confirm the choice 3 weeks ago. At that time, I asked to receive the prescription by mail because I will buy it in another place, and it never came. I called again, and I never received it. The third time they told me I could pick it up.
Yesterday, I went to the office, after a long drive. And, the person at the front desk told me that the Doctor needs to be informed about my decision and that he will sign the final prescription. The receptionist at Montrose location, who is not really polite by the way, told me that she will leave a note to the Doctor, who will come on Thursday (a note? when he supposed to sign the prescription three weeks ago? this is totally unacceptable!), when I asked to pick it up today (Tuesday) she said in a rude manner: "Wait until we call you, ma'm"
This is inadmissible, three weeks waiting because some people show that patients don't care! My son needs his contact today, actually three weeks ago.
This is not the first time something like this happened with Garcia's clinic. Last year I had the same experience trying to pick up my glasses, three attempts, until they finally they gave me the reading glasses without the case I left. A total disaster!
Every time we had an appointment the wait was endless. And the most sad is the fact that they seem that the don't care about the patients. If is that the situation, they should let the position for the ones who really care about people.
I already changed my eye doctor provider, and my son is also leaving.
I do not recommend this clinic at all.
Horrible service, you call nobody answers. You leave a VM and nobody returns your call.. I've been waiting a month for my mother's glasses and still don't know if they have arrived because there is no follow up, and nobody answers the phone.
This is for the Park 10 location...
I buy All my GLASSES, and Contacts
I've had a great experience here with Dr Iszard. Wait time was 20-30 min, huge selection of glasses at good prices, glasses ready in 2-3 weeks.
