Dr. Eric Nguyen

I didn't like his attitude also felt lazy and didnt want to do the test properly and just copied and pasted my old prescription. This optometrist is terrible! I dont recommend this place at all for anybody. He is very rude, doesn't listen and explains anything. Also he used to make bad comments about my vision and also making fun of my concerns. He just copies your old prescription and shuffles some numbers and thats all. I have been suffering from dizziness and headaches since his prescription, ended up he added one complete value to my prescription randomly.

I had a great experience with Dr. Nguyen a couple months ago and will be a repeat patient. The visit was on time and prompt. He advised me on switching to daily contact lenses and discussed the possibility of bifocal contacts in the future (I'm not quite there yet). I appreciated his insights on that. What the office lacks in pizzazz (is located in the Target) is made up for in location (conveniently in the Target which I need to go to periodically anyway) and in Dr. Nguyen's efficiency and expertise. He also had the ability to get me my prescription electronically so I could order contacts wherever I chose. I highly recommend.

This doctor is great! All these haters are just mean. I like this doctor. Hes very honest and people who dont like him should leave. Will be coming back! Awesome review. I can finally see my wife. I figured out its a dude!

I wish I could give 0. This was my 1st eye exam in a while and I set my appointment a week ago. My exam was less than 10 mins and he was VERY much on the rude/annoyed side. I should have left because I didn't like the way he was speaking to the lady before me. He's very short tempered, dim-witted, and not through at all. I just paid so I can order my glasses and left. As much as I LOVE Target (his office is inside the Houston Main location) I will NEVER return to him as a patient. Please don't patronize this Doctor.

He's very rude! I came to my appointment , he didn't properly greet me and asked me to remove my contacts . I simply asked would I get to leave with trials if for some reason they ripped while taking them out with my sharp nails because I had no back up pair if I had to remove them. He responded very rudely and instead of directing me to the back room and actually laying out the supplies I needed , he pointed to a dark back room. The lights were off , and there was no solution or contact lense case for me to put them in. I nicely asked him what could I use to put my contacts in . He rudely told me to look in the cabinets , I had to find where the lights to turn on , and dig through your cabinets to get supplies I needed ? How unprofessional and with it being my first visit , how was I expected to know where everything was? I just ended up walking out because he was mean, rude, and not helpful. We didn't even get to start the actual appointment . He was just cutting me off when I asked questions. I will never return and will continue to let people know not to come here !

Dr. Nguyen is one of the best Optometrist in the south region of Houston. His attention to detail in his exams are really good. He is fast and understanding of one's needs. I've had the pleasure of booking him for many years for eyeglasses and Contact Lens exam and I don't see that changing anytime soon. He is very efficient, fast, and very personable.

The visit was about 10 minutes, the Doctor was happy to answer all of my questions and tested my eyes further when I mentioned I might need reading glasses. He had a soothing, professional tone.
