I feel very fortunate to have been able to have Dr. Whitsett perform my cataract surgery on both eyes. He explained everything so that even I could understand it, and that's saying a lot. LoL. The procedures were flawless and my healing time was very fast. I expected to have to wear "cheaters" for reading, but both my distant and near vision is 20/20 or better. I did see different doctors at each follow-up appointment, but that was simply because I wanted to do the follow-up appointments closer to home. And that experience was amazing as well, because the other surgeons on staff and office personnel/technicians were just as knowledgeable and helpful. My wife is next in line. We knew we picked the right surgeon because we listened and read all about Dr. Whitsett and how he has performed so many clinical trials for various IOL's. You don't get selected to perform those tests/trials for the FDA without knowing something, that much is certain. Truth is, you would never know he is actually a "cataract surgeon rock star" because he is so humble. I am actually a Certified Medicare Advisor by trade, so I see many people every single day that are in need of getting cataract surgery. I tell ALL my clients about Dr. Whitsett and The Whitsett Vision Group because I truly believe there is none better! I appreciate all he and his staff have done for me and my wife!

I had an allergic reaction to the meds during cataract surgery and Dr. Whitsett handled it superbly. He had the anesthesiologist switch out the meds in both eyes cataracts were removed and replaced effortlessly snd I can see like a hawk now. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Whitsett.
