Drs. Kemp and Peterson Optometrists

Been going to Dr. Kemp's for years. I moved so decided to try a place close to home but received terrible service. Went back to Dr. Kemp and never going anywhere else! Dr. Kemp is very thorough.

I have been coming here for over 15 years and today was the worse experience ever! The ladies at the front are extremely rude! They literally scheduled my appointment and erased it out of the book. The older lady was I believe Mirna was empathetic. The young lady with the ponytail was very very rude and even refused to give me her name. I drove nearly a hour to come here and rearrange my other appointments for her to tell me to come back we accidentally erased you out of the book. Extremely incompetent, rude, no empathy for their patients. I do not recommend anyone to use their services. Very out to date technology!

I've been seeing Dr Kemp since I was a teenager and I now take my own middle school age children to him for their eye care. Dr Kemp is knowledgeable, professional and warm. This is definitely a "no frills" office. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing environment this isn't it. The cost savings are apparently passed down to the customer as Dr Kemp is always honest and has never overcharged me for services or pressured me into making purchases I wasn't interested in. Making an appointment is a simple phone call. The office hours are reasonable and accommodating; including Saturday appointments.

My father has been seeing Dr. Kemp for many years (decades) and has great confidence in him. Last week I met the doctor for the first time, and I was impressed. Dr. Kemp is down-to-earth and is an excellent communicator. I highly recommend him.

Our yearly exam came up and I recommended this office to my husband. He scheduled an appointment was supposed to be seen today (8/17/22) so the office called to verify insurance. After providing all the information they said nothing was coming up for coverage. I spoke with my HR department to ensure everything was correct on our end which it was. We had asked for the to verify and confirm everything was resolved ahead of time before my husband left work which they didn't. Once he arrived at the location, they told him they no longer accept our insurance. My husband asked when did the change go into effect and why they didn't contact him. They couldn't give a clear answer as of when since they didn't even notice they no longer were in network. I called to ask what the issue was to only be told they stop being in network since May and they didn't notice until now that we wanted to get our exam done. Very disappointed in how the staff handled the situation and couldn't even write down the number correctly to inform us. The office has never reached out in any way to let us know of the changed as we are affected by the change.

Dr. Kemp is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful even going out his way to help clients. I am extremely grateful!

Fast Pace doctor's office they could usually see me as a walk in. I do not have a picture of the outside of the building and I would not take a picture on the inside due to patients privacy and my respect for that.
