EaDo Eye Studio - Optometrist in East Downtown Houston

Had a wonderful experience as a first time patient with EaDo Eye Studio! Had a special greeting when we walked in and everyone was so sweet and helpful. Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and perfectly explained all the results and even was able to catch a couple things that was missed with my last provider. The office was very modern and clean with a very peaceful ambience. Looking forward to future appointments and will definitely be recommending to family and friends :)

This is my second set of glasses (3rd appointment) with Dr. Peter Nguyen. I have had multiple TIAs and plagued with binocular vision dysfunction along with oscillopsia. I took my wife with me this time around for her vision exam as well. My first visit with Dr. Nguyen was at the Heights Eye Studio location be we chose this location second time around because they had Saturday appointments with Dr. Nguyen which the Heights location did not. I am again very impressed with Dr. Nguyen for his mannerisms, attention to detail, and conservative awareness with finances. To keep it simple, if you want a welcoming optometrist/optometry facility, who won't rip you off, won't sell you more than you need, have the utmost patience day after day/year after year, THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. Not only does it reflect with the doctors here (same doctors as Heights Eye Studio because they are the same owners), it reflects in the people they hire. I have only had the pleasure of working with Dr. Nguyen; his staff Morgan, Karen, and Jajuan (Heights) but I believe the professional aspects of the owners/dr.(s) are reflected in their staff. Both of our glasses arrived ahead of the promised time, were very high quality and well made. The facility kept in contact with us during the whole process. My glasses were a specially made FL-41 migraine reducing lens. Morgan did a great job handling the custom order and Dr. Nguyen made an excellent choice with the delicate prescription needs I have by providing a "Computer" prescription. To top it off, some how Karen ended up picking the correct fitting glasses on the first try and I have a giant noggin and incredibly hard to fit (this has never happened in the last 25 years). I am extremely pleased and thought I would share and give credit where it is due. If you are sick of your unprofessionally staffed, uncaring, and overpriced optometrist; give them a try. They are worth every penny spent here. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff! ***I have attached some pictures for my fellow binocular vision dysfunction, migraine sufferers, and computer users who may benefit from a therapeutic lens like FL-41. I have to use dark mode because it is more comforting along with high contrast but some days it just isn't enough. Hopefully this will give you an idea on light transmission (just enough) and how much blue light filtering it provides (pay attention to the white text). The 2 chart photos is one with the lens in front of the camera lens and the other without.

Absolutely stellar experience! From the moment I walked in, EaDo Eye Studio set the bar high. The space is modern and welcoming, but it's the people who truly make the experience exceptional. Morgan was fantastic, checking me in and out seamlessly and guiding me through parts of my comprehensive eye exam with warmth, clarity, and professionalism. Everything felt smooth, calm, and genuinely patient-focused. Dr. Vuong was outstanding - knowledgeable, attentive, and refreshingly personable. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made the exam feel thorough and reassuring rather than rushed or impersonal. The entire team clearly cares about their patients and takes pride in what they do. If you're looking for expert eye care paired with excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere, EaDo Eye Studio is the place. Highly, highly recommend.

Honestly, great doctor. Makes you feel super comfortable, relatable, and just provided an overall great experience during your visit with HIM. The lady named Karen at the front desk treated me as if I didn't belong there. From no warm, welcoming greeting to immediately asking me to sign where she has some forms already prepared for me about agreeing with the price for the days visit (without talking with me more about my needs and budget). She was very condescending and passive aggressive. After my visit I did have conversation with the doctor about my experience with Karen, that's how terrible it was honestly l. I did nothing to her, I was only there an emergency need for eyes ..which the doctor did resolve.

Come here for all your eyecare needs! Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Vuong are so friendly and will make you feel at home. The staff are very friendly. They are very detailed in their eye exam. The space is very clean. I love my new glasses!

This was my son's first optometrist appointment and it went better than expected! We had no wait time. The office is nice and new. The staff was patient and very accommodating for my son who is neurodivergent. Highly recommend them!

Highly recommend Eado Eye Studio! My puppy accidentally scratched my cornea and I was able to get a same day appointment. Treatment was affordable and effective and the office is gorgeous. Parking garage is right next door and they validate parking. The receptionist and both Dr. Vuong and Dr. Nguyen are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I will be making them my new optometrist.
