I had the best experience at The Eye Gallery on Post Oak! I had a new prescription for glasses and was looking for a place that had a wide selection of frames that didn't look like they came from Costco. I had been in a number of salons and had been looking since December. I happened on The Eye Gallery and could not be happier that I did. I had a frame style in mind and they were the only shop that not only had the style, but had a nice variety of colors and sizes. They focused on my preferences and provided a great number of colors and styles for my choice. I made my decision quickly and asked when I could expect to pick up the final product. They told me they would have them ready in a half hour. I was pleasantly gob-smacked! A half-hour later, I was strolling out the door with a brand new pair of prescription glasses.. The whole experience was delightful. The staff is helpful, pleasant and very experienced. I will definitely be back and will recommend them to everyone.

I came to post oak plaza for lunch and while walking to the sushi lounge upstairs I found this place. What a coincidence because I was looking for sunglasses. With COVID, every sunglasses or glasses you touch/wear, they will sanitize it. I tried couple of them and decided to buy one that will look good all season. They are currently during a sale too, till October, so if you are looking for one, take advantage of their discount! This really made my day and the store staffs are friendly. Will be back.

This store is really a gem among optical stores. It's family owned and indepently operated. Not just another franchise optician that carries made in china luxottica products. This means that insurance companies don't control their decisions and they can give you independent, solid advice and truly help you find a special frame that fits you properly, as well as aesthetically. The owner is often the one helping me out and I've seen the same people working here since 2018. They give you honest feedback and are incredibly patient when I'm browsing. I never feel rushed. Aditionally the selection they carry here is impressive. All independently owned eyewear brands with long lasting heritage, and frames that are built with the highest standard of quality, often hand made in Japan or France. The owners and employees genuinely care about what they do, how they do it, and the experience coming here reflects that. I have confidence that you will enjoy your visit, leave impressed, and feel satisfied coming here. Which is a rare experience while shopping nowadays.

This place is one of the most racist places i've been. As soon as i walked in the man started to follow me around. I was looking at these pair of glasses i was interested in, he proceeded to walk up to me and say "we do not have any name brands." I was astonished by his words because they did have name brands but i kept on minding my business. He followed me around the whole store as i looked at glasses and every time i would put something down he would adjust it. When i left he stood outside of the door watching me walk to my car until i drove off. I cannot believe in 2024 stuff like this can occur simply because of my skin. I will not be going back.

This place is the most racist place I've ever been. When I walked in, the guy asked what I was looking for. I said I was just browsing, but he replied that he didn't have name brands. Confused, I walked around and noticed the Masunaga brand. I asked him if that was a brand, and he said yes so I told him "My people don't just wear Gucci and Versace." He then followed me and my daughter around the store the entire time we were there. Incredible!"

Micah Moore was such a big help with deciding what was the perfect eyeglasses. The Eye Gallery has the best designer frames. Not your average run of the mill frames. I get compliments on every pair of glasses I have purchased from them. You won't regret spending a little more money for good eyewear.

The location on Post oak was the most horrific experience I've encountered as a black women In Houston Tx I will never return! Some tall white man followed me around the store but acted like he didn't know any prices. Just made me feel so uncomfortable!

This was most fun and truly great experience shopping for new frames in such long time!!! Mikah was very professional and helpful! I ended up with 2 new pairs of glasses and new sunglasses. Great selection and customer service. Thank You Eye Gallery of Houston.
