I had a very long wait to see Dr. Davis, but when I finally got to see him, it was well worth it. I understand why he is so busy. He is kind and very informative. He answered all of my questions. I am very satisfied with his expertise. I made another appointment with him ,and I am willing to wait.

PRO'S: Outstanding clinician with excellent bedside manner. A superior physician should be thorough and display a curious mind when examining a patient. Dr. Garvin Davis is that person. CON'S: Absolutely NONE SUMMARY: I come from a family of medical practitioners. My expectations for medical care are high. I will continue to use Dr. Davis for excellent ophthalmology care in the future.

Dr Davis is a wonderful doctor. Caring, professional & such a warm compassionate doctor. Takes an interest in my care, openly discussing my health concerns & questions about my treatment. I have been a patient of his for about 7 years. I am very pleased with my care & know I am in good hands with his professional services. Kudos to Dr Davis.

I have been seeing Dr. Garvin Davis for over two years and appreciate his thoughtfulness and expertise in treating my eye condition. The wait time is none to brief; the technicians are professional and competent. I feel like I am in good hands.

I was very impressed with Dr. Davis and his staff. They were very courteous and professional. I was early and glad to see they went right to work. They were very efficient which translated into very little wait time. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care.

After a recent and sudden vitreous detachment, Dr Davis not only fit me in almost immediately when I called, but was amazing to work with. He took time to address all of my questions and concerns and never once made me feel rushed. The whole staff was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend anyone who has similar urgent retina issues to contact Dr Davis and team.

It took 1.5 hours to be seen by the doctor, when the doctor arrived he said he was late due to an OR call. If that was the case, I totally get it but maybe notify the staff that he is running behind so that either I can be seen by another provider or rescheduled. Don't just dilate my eyes and then keep me waiting for more than an hour. Everyone's time is precious and I didn't take time off work to sit and wait on a doctor who could have communicated with the staff he was running behind. His staff assumed he was in with another patient and kept telling me he was coming when in fact he was no where in the office. Once he did arrive he asked me to stay for another 10 minutes to examine me as if I didn't already wait 90 minutes on him. I'm also not going to let someone just rush an exam either, I took the time to research him and weeks to get in to see him to be dwindled down to a 10 min exam? No thanks bro. I did not stay, will not reschedule and probably would stay clear of this practice. Even if you were a great doctor, my time is just as valuable as yours so please take that into consideration when you make the next patient wait hours to be seen by you.

After years of neglectful medical care and terrible customer service from this practice, I decide to write a review to warn others to look elsewhere for care. When you call the office for an urgent appointment it takes days or weeks to get an appointment. On multiple occasions I had to beg for an appointment to be seen when I was experiencing an eye emergency. The practice manager, Monica Zepeda, is combative and hostile. She was adamant about delaying my emergency care due to her unwillingness to call my insurance to get pre-approval. Her supervisor, Bradley Stees, was unsympathetic when I called to address both the delay in treatment and her abusive behavior towards me as I was seeking care.Dr. Davis was unconcerned when informed about my repetitive difficulty in accessing care. Methodist certainly seems to care more about reimbursement/revenue than patient care. Additionally, is no way to contact the physician or office for questions or follow up and the overall patient care experience is atrocious. I could give more examples about the office cancelling/delaying/rescheduling appointments or not having the drops/injection needed when you arrive for a scheduled appointment, but no one at the practice cares. I would highly recommend that you don't risk your vision by using this practice.
