Dr. Swanson has been treating Lucky for Glaucoma for 9 years. Very pleased with his efforts. Explains options, and is very caring towards the animals. The entire staff is caring. Cannot express my gratitude enough.

I would not recommend this clinic. Front desk staff was really rude to me. Dr. Herrmann seemed like he just wanted to over bill for services - felt like a money grab when it was supposed to be $175 for the initial cataract exam and I walked out with a $500 bill because I got shampoo in one of my dog's eyes right before the appointment. I paid the amount and took all of the medications recommended by Dr. Hermann (since they said they were all medically necessary) - but when I got home, his eye was like normal (again, shampoo was not even the reason for the initial visit). I had such a terrible experience with the front desk afterwards and they just appeared angry and frustrated after my dog also had an accident in the lobby. It was just a terrible experience overall and I left the clinic in tears, again because there was no follow-up for what I was there for (cataract surgery) and because of an unnecessary charge on medications - also to note, they charge 3% on credit cards and would not accept my bank information to avoid the fee. I started looking for other vets almost immediately, because again - I do not trust this clinic.

We have multiple cats, and vet services are almost always an adventure, not necessarily a good one. For sure we know that a hefty price tag will be in the mix. Today was our first visit at this clinic, trying to help a stray. The visit was accommodated swiftly through another vet, which was incredible by itself - same day appointment are like winning the lottery. The visit itself was great. The cat was tended to almost immediately. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They gave us options for our budget, and we opted for a treatment / exam plan that won't break the bank. The vet was thorough and explained her findings and her recommendations, and was very patient with us. We are very grateful for this place.

I found them on a whim as I frantically searched for help as my dog's eye seemed to be injured. They walked me through the steps and coordinated with my dog's regular vet to get two extreme situations under control. Really great service and caring individuals. My boyfriend and I were pleased with the results considering the alternative.

These opthamologist here are so spectacular and very thorough. Staff is TOP SHELF. They are very easy and convenient to get to from the Galveston county, literally located on the feeder of the Gulf freeway at the Fuqua exit from the south.

Dr Swanson operated on both my English Bulldogs eyes with great success. I had multiple vets comment on how they have never seen this particular eye surgery turn out so well ( Cherry eye). Also the staff at both locations are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend both locations.

Our fur babies have only seen Dr. Wagner. Dr. Wagner provided a thorough examination and patiently answered all questions.
