Front staff is friendly...... Management needs to work on efficiency. When patients are expected to arrive on time for appointments, the doctors should be available to see them. We had an appointment and arrived 10 minutes early, now over an hour past my appointment time and still waiting to be seen. Came here with my children, rearranged plans to make the appointment. Its been good here in the past, love the remodel.

. They gave me a prescription that was too strong, now I have problems reading close up. Houston doesn't seem to have good eye places. I had to go to another place and get my old prescription and pay another $600 for glasses.

The appointment was easy to book online. Forms were quick and wait time was short. Dr. Cohn was very polite, quick but thorough and informative, HOWEVER, I would NOT return or recommend this office to anyone because of the surprising copay amount. My $10 eye exam copay turned into a $55 charge! When asked they explained that it was the charge for the exams and retinal images they took that I did NOT consent to! I understand I "consent" to service when filling out the forms but I was not made aware that the imaging would would cost me extra. They really should have asked or let me know before going ahead and taking the images then charging me later at check out. The imaging was NOT medically necessary and I am unhappy to have overpaid for a simple eye exam. For this reason alone I would actually encourage people to go elsewhere. The only reason why I didn't give the lowest rating was because aside from overcharging me the doctor was great and the visit and wait time was pleasant.

Could NOT be happier! The entire staff are truly concerned about providing the best options for your eyesight. As a new patient I was not expecting the service of my former eye Dr. (who closed their practice) to be matched. This office has surpassed my former Dr's service and attention! They are crazy busy but have an amazing efficiency routine which allows them to spend time with you yet get you in and out quickly. I am not one to write reviews but it is my pleasure to say that you will NOT be disappointed!

*Update* Thank you for the response, I reached out to me previous optician and another reputable eye doctor in the area as well, to confirm this practice, so I could retract if that was the case. Unfortunately, not only did both offices take the time to listen to exactly what I was asking before cutting me off and simply saying no. The contacts I was asking about were virtually identical. However, I was never even given a chance to get even that far with your office. Both doctor's saw absolutely no reason MEDICALLY for the issue with your office. And since I am still well within a year of my exam, and your office is again citing company policy, I stand by my review. TERRIBLE! Only want your money for UNNECESSARY EXAMS and will boy give you prescriptions. It's been less than a year since my eye exam but they refuse to give me a general prescription for contacts, citing "corporate policy". Money is their focus over patient care. I explained I needed a prescription for a less expensive contact due to changes in my job because of Covid and the REFUSED! Again, it's been less than a year since my exam. (10/2020) I was SHOCKED when I explained my situation, and was simply told no, I had to come in get another exam. There is ZERO medical or legal reason for this, only $$. They were so nice! I injured the surface of my eye and visited this location. I saw Dr. Ajjour, and then Dr. Patel for my follow up. Both doctors were kind and seemed to genuinely care, explained what was going on, and allowed me to ask questions. I already feel better two days after first going. :)

The doctors are very nice but the front desk and scheduling are so rude! I had to reschedule after booking online and the person I spoke with kept deep sighing. She talked to me with so much attitude I was in shock. I will not be going back! Customer service is your job and if you can't or don't like talking to people then you need to work in another field/position.

Excellent experience! Staff and Dr. H were very professional and office has a nice contemporary design. Glad they have state of the art equipment and lots of experience, because they found a small hole in my retina, which explained the bright, comet-like, streaks I've recently been seeing. I was educated on what this meant, and given options to treat it. Definitely will be going back and bringing my family as well!
