This is a very nice office. Dr. Vala is great. Her staff is excellent. Super professional. The exam was incredibly thorough! They've got technology in there I've never seen at any other optometrist's office! Conveniently connected to a LensCrafters, so picking new frames was quick and easy. 10/10.

I'm disappointed that the staff did not verify my insurance coverage before my visit. I was later informed that I wasn't due for an exam yet, and now I'm being asked to pay out-of-pocket. Had this been checked beforehand, I could have avoided the unnecessary expense.

Dr. Mita Vala was over an hour late to my scheduled appointment with no acknowledgement of such, she did not greet my guest in the examination room though she did speak to me, Dr. Vala shared my diagnosis in the lobby (not the exam room) while another patient sat waiting, & overall the encounter seemed rushed.
On a positive note the staff member triaging and covering the front desk was kind and personable.
This review appears to be an outlier. I am glad others had a great experience, though I cannot say the same.

Both ladies are jewels! Went in as a walk in because I needed my eye exam for glasses I needed before I travelled to NC in a week or so! Everyone else turned me away due to no appt. They squeezed me in and I was in and out in no time! Walked right next door to Lens Crafters and got my glasses within the next hour! AMAZING
