Dr. Queen has been my eye care specialist for several years. With good fortune, I only see her once a year as she monitors eye issues that are stable due to her attention and care. She is always "present", kind and professional. Her manner exudes intelligence confidence and clarity - the kind of medical interaction that I think is very rare and special among doctors. On top of all of that, she remembers personal details about prior conversations even though we only visit once a year! (This defines her character.) Her surrounding team is like minded, effective and efficient - during examinations, everything works like clock work. Obviously, I strongly endorse and recommend her as an outstanding physician!

About Joanna Queen, MD
Dr. Joanna Queen grew up in The Woodlands and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She then returned to the Houston area for medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center, McGovern Medical School. After an internship at Houston Methodist Hospital she completed her ophthalmology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Following residency, Dr. Queen completed an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma at The University of Michigans prestigious Kellogg Eye Center.
