It was our first appointment. We arrived 30 minutes before appointment time but still had to wait for a long time. We decided to wait for multiple hours else need to reschedule the visit for an appointment 6-8 weeks later in new years. I will add the experience of check up with a separate post.

I can't thank Dr. Jong and his team at Houston Eye Associates enough. From my first appointment to the date of my actual eye surgery, I have been treated with the most professional courtesy and respect that a patient can receive. Dr. Jong explained the procedure that I needed clearly and his staff was very helpful in preparing me for the surgery and after care. My surgery went well, there was no discomfort, it was completed in the time length given, and my vision has improved. My post op went well and I again can not thank Dr. Jong and his staff enough for their caring professionalism.

Dr. Kevin Jong is absolutely awesome! I started with him with my mother, then I referred my sister. Dr. Jong is such a caring doctor. I am now a patient, before I left the office I made an appointment for my husband. I will definitely refer my family and friends to him. It's hard to find a good doctor in any field, once you do find one hold on to them.

My visit with Dr. Jong on Sept 6, 2023 was excellent as usual. I was greeted very cordially at the front desk. My nurse, Ms. Angela, who is very friendly, caring, and professional prepped me for Dr. Jong and asked me how my family was. Dr. Jong is the best! He greeted me and asked how I was doing. He examined my eyes very carefully and was pleased that things were going well. Then he told me what test I would have on my next visit. Dr. Jong and all of his staff are the greatest! If you need an ophthalmologist, call Dr.Jong.

Dr Kevin Jong completed his medical degree and internship at Baylor College of Medicine after graduating Magna Cum Laude at the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He completed an ophthalmology residency program at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr Jong was appointed chief resident at Tulane and mentored 20 residents at five hospitals. After graduating, Dr Jong spent over 4 years in the valley area examining and treating underprivileged Hispanic patients.
