Marshall Hamill, MD

I am 20 years old, and Dr. Hamill has been my eye surgeon for 14 years. With my eyes, he has done it all. When it comes to IOL replacements, he's your guy! I would never go to any other doctor because of how caring and great at his job he is. Literally. He is one of the few doctors that can perform the surgeries that he can do. He teaches all over the world to train other ophthalmologist. You will not be disappointed with his as your regular eye checkup guy/surgeon!

Dr. Hamill is the only one who would operate on my eyes AND restored my sight. I have an extremely rare eye condition, and he had the guts to do a lensectomy, lens implant, YAG lasers, and finally I can see after being blind in one eye and quickly going blind in the other. I am grateful to God for Dr. Hamill and his team!!!

Before I saw Dr. Hamill I had undergone three failed surgeries at the hands of a surgeon not connected with Baylor. The surgeries had damaged the cornea. I lived with corneal edema for almost four months. I was lied to and was given the false hope that multiple eye drops would offer a cure. If a person stood in front of me, I could not tell if it was a man or a woman; I could only see rough shapes, and colors. I dwelled in a world of fog, anger, hopelessness, and depression. I thought that my life was over. A friend who lives in Waco said, "There is a doctor in Houston, Dr. Hamill, who works miracles." Dr. Hamill replaced the cornea on March 13, 2019. I only expected to regain some vision, but about two months later I had 20/20. Dr. Marshall Bowes Hamill gave me back my eyesight and a new life.

Let me state that he might be a good surgeon, to me he is unorganized, his nurse is hateful. Every appointment that we had with was way off , wait for hours then the last surgery scheduled at 10:15am My wife finally went in at 2:20pm. She had not eat since 12midnight. The wife and I basically felt like cattle . Of course thats all we really are correct. Would i use him again ? Not no but Hell NO! GL too anyone who uses this surgeon and say hello to his hateful nurse.

Dr. Hamill saved my eyesight!! Bad accident he fixed it all! Can't say enough how outstanding he is. I'm so very blessed to have found him.

Dr Hamill is a wonderful person and a great surgeon. I have been his patient for years.
