Absolutely excellent doctor! He recently performed cataracts surgery on my mom and this is the best her vision has been for quite some time. He has excellent bedside manner, answers all of our questions and concerns. He is just a very good professional and most of all he's got my mom "seeing" again. We are so pleased. He was very honest with her about her left eye which is not nearly as severe as the right eye. She will only need a lens to see from that one. I recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a great eye ophthalmologist! I'll be honest, I'm not crazy about the nurse, Amber. She is very abrupt and does not have the patience to be a nurse. She has scolded at my mom twice in two separate visits and I do not appreciate that. However, I couldn't let that reflect in the rating for the doctor.

Dr. Hashima is exceptionally nice. I'm an old lady and it is nice to have a nice looking young man to help me understand about my eyes. When I joke with him, he comes back with his dry humor. I like that. It makes me feel that he really cares about his patients.

If you want an eye doctor that uses you as a lab rat, experience the worst pain imaginable, and you would rather go blind this is the doctor for you. He is the absolute worst! How everyone has given him 5 stars is beyond my comprehension. I gave him one star only because there is no option to give him 0 stars. I am NOT a disgruntled patient. This man just doesn't care. Did not explain the horrible effects of the drug he prescribed only told me it was expensive. When I told him about the side effects he advised his nurses to tell me to continue to take the drug. Now here is where I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY...I took his advice. I wanted to commit suicide the pain was just that bad. I stopped taking the drug on my own and the pain and other effects subsided...THANK GOD!! I will never go to him again. If you go to him just be warned.

He explained my issues and developed a plan to treat my symptoms. Very through exam. His staff was very courteous and helpful. I felt they took an genuine interest making me comfortable with the experience
