Northwest Eye Specialists: Rana Ghauri, MD

I accompany my husband to his appointments with Dr. Ghauri. While she is an excellent doctor clinically, the way she treats her staff is deeply troubling. On multiple visits, including just yesterday, I witnessed her speaking to a front desk receptionist in an extremely rude and demeaning manner. This isn't a one-time issue -- it's a pattern. No employee should have to work in an environment where they appear afraid of their boss. It reflects poorly on the practice and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for patients as well. Respecting and valuing staff is essential to running any medical office. I truly hope this behavior is addressed, because it is unacceptable and undermines the otherwise good care provided here.

Dr RanaGhauri has been my Eye Specialist for about 9 years. She has always been very supportive and helpful concerning my eyes health. I strongly recommend her services to anyone who requires an eye specialist. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The tech was personable and professional. And very patient. Dr. Ghauri asked various questions related to my screening. I thought it was thorough and made me aware of things I need to be aware of

Dr. Ghauri has been treating me for years. Her check-ups and treatment plans are very carefully made. Her staff is always professional and courteous. I recommend her 100%

Dr Rana Ghauri has done very good stent surgery in my right eye. After surgery my glaucoma pressure went down from 28 to 14. For left eye she prescribed me some eye drops by which my pressure has been in control at 15. Doctor and staff do excellent job. She mostly tries to prescribe generic eye drops instead of name brand. That keeps eye drops drug cost down to $0.

I want to commend Dr.Ghauri and her staff that saw me today for my dizziness and potential eye problems. Although my issues of discovering the root problems of my issue weren't solved, I was given further direction to help me figure it out, with referrals to other physicians. My eyes were happily determined in good health. I dont remember the young lady (Varona?) that helped me as well but she was very good at her job and I felt in good hands during my time there. Definitely recommend !!!!

Have been going to Dr Ghauri for over 16 years. She has alway been straight forward tells you exactly what she thinks and what needs to happen. She is one of my favorite doctors.

My husband recently had a cataract consultation with Dr. Ghauri. We followed the recommended procedure, including insurance verification, and were scheduled for a follow-up appointment. However, minutes before arriving for the appointment, we were informed that Dr. Ghauri does not have privileges at the surgery center covered by our insurance. This information was apparently known prior to our initial consultation and the acceptance of our insurance. The lack of transparency regarding this significant limitation caused unnecessary time and inconvenience. We are now required to start the entire process again with a different surgeon. This situation raises concerns about the practice's communication and patient care. We are extremely disappointed with this experience.
