I first saw Dr. Kim 13 years ago. i was legally blind in my left eye and the right was on the way out. Dr Kim stopped the deterioration and has been taking care of it ever since. She is literally my angel as i have better vision now than almost ever! She has always been caring and patient and even laughs at my stupid jokes. i would consider her to be one of the premier eye surgeons in the world. i am lucky to have access to such a good doctor and person. i cannot recommend her and her staff enough.

I have been a patient of Dr Rosa Kim since 2006. After a failed clinical trial at the NEI in Bethesda, MD (allergic to trial medication) I asked them to refer me to a doctor in Houston who would deaden my eyes before injections. Dr Kim knows my eyes like nobody else. She is thoughtful and attentive to my needs. Her staff is great. Wait times are as expected for the level of care I receive. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my retina care.

Dr Kim has taken care of me since 2018 when she repaired a partially detached retina. She is very professional and personable. She has worked with my other doctors to develop a successful treatment plan that has maintained my vision beyond any expectation. Dr Kim is an excellent doctor and I recommend her to anyone needing a retina doctor.

I went for a retina check-up. Before the doctor examined my eyes, the assistant gave me numbing eye drops. I mentioned that I had already received the drops a few minutes earlier, but she said it was necessary to apply them again. I agreed and let her proceed. To my surprise and dismay, she applied the drops multiple times, squeezing what felt like half the bottle into both eyes. The excess even dripped down to my neck and collarbone. Although she was smiling and polite throughout, the experience felt excessive and uncomfortable.

If I could no start I would. Yesterday I went their on scheduled appointment only to tell me that I am not in-network. I made this appointment two weeks before. The staff told me that she called me, which I unable to receive. When I checked she made a call that I am not in-network one day before the scheduled appointment. What happened to two weeks which I could have ask my insurance to find me another specialist. They wasted my time and money. Incompetence!!!!
