I'm writing to sincerely thank to Dr Ou and his wonderful team for the excellent care I received during my recent cataract surgery.
Before the procedure, I was quite nervous and worried, but his kindness, patience and clear explanations put me at ease. The results have been amazing. My vision is so much better and I can see clearly again. His skill and expertise have improved my quality of life.
I have been a patient of Dr. Ou for several years. Dr. Ou and his Staff is a Great Team. They always gives their Patients respect. Dr. Ou has a pleasant smile and a hearty handshake and that will never age. Thank You for being an Excellent Person FIRST and an Excellent Doctor !! Be Blessed
I just used Dr. Richard, Ou, MD ( the Great Wizard of OU his new Nickname I gave him now he trained my eye Dr. Eric Chen that did my retina surgery 2013) and then had my LAL best cataract Laser surgery with him 5/22/25 this year. Then the follow up post surgery at the LAL adjustments with their people Dr. Optometrists the Houston Eye Surgical Center on Gramercy near West Houston and Rice area. They own the building there have free parking and security is there too! All the people there are very nice and I had to go there for 6 times for all the adjustments for the LAL stuff.
I trust his professional knowledge and care for his patients. I highly recommend him to everyone. You know he is highly recommended by his patients. And, you know how good he is because it's difficult to get an appointment. Definitely worth your wait to get one! For the good of your eyes book ASAP
My husband's and my experience at Houston Eye was wonderful. The medical team and Dr Ou took good care of our medical complaints.
They were very kind and cleared up all our doubts.
We are very happy with your patient service.
Doctor and his staff were wonderful. They ask questions and relay them to the doctor. He also spoke of the concerns I had mentioned to his assistant. They really care about my comfort as well as my sight.
Called the office number at 1:20pm and got a recording that "...the office closes at 3pm" and to call back during regular business hours. Tried ALL of Dr. Ou's other offices and got the same thing. There is no means to leave a message to have someone call back. What kind of doctor's office does that?
Dr. OU performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes fourteen (14) ago and I have been under his eye care ever since then and do not have any problems. I have type 2 diabetes and he has monitored this closely. Dr OH is a professional, true individual and wants so much to be able to help people and I am very fortunate to have him for my doctor. His staff is great also.
