My whole family goes to Dr.Montemayor we have been going since i was a teenager now my kids go to him, he's hands down the best. Never had a bad experience until my last visit with the front desk staff. Compared to past experiences they were nice but when it was time to pick up my daughter and my contacts they gave me a plastic bag and that was it ....no contact solution or nothing! Then when i went to get my son's glasses the lady looked for the glasses case in drawers and gave them to my son without a glasses cleaning cloth which made me think it wasn't a new case. Very disappointing experience getting our contacts and glasses this time .

I've been seeing Dr. Montemayor Sr since the early 90's. He's very patient, personable and knowledgeable. I made the mistake of seeing a different Optometrist during Covid. I got new glasses with his prescription and have not seen well until getting new glasses from Dr. Montemayor. I just picked them up and can see again!

Dr. Montemayor had the utmost patience and kindness in providing his recommendation and detailed explanation on the use of progressive lenses versus bifocals for my mother's prescription. After several visits to the office for changes/modifications on the same lenses, we were about to give up on TSO, but I am glad we had a chance to see Dr. Montemayor before doing so. His expertise combined with his personability is exactly what you can ask for in an optometrist.

Dr. Montemayor is such a kind person and I have been totally satisfied with him and TSO (the highway 6 location and most recently, the Energy Corridor location) for 15 years to provide many sets of glasses and contacts...until this winter. I moved a few years back and used someone closer to my new home for my last pair of glasses; however, I decided to make the 50 mile trek back to Dr. M. last winter. Long story short - after 3 attempts to get my glasses right, I still don't have glasses that work for me and they have my $440 deposit. I'm wearing my old glasses he gave me in 2014 and they are much better than any of the 3 different prescriptions/glasses they've ordered. While I appreciate their willingness to keep trying , I don't want the inconvenience and hassle of going in for yet another exam and attempt number 4 at glasses that work! I asked for a refund and was told "No". I find this almost hurtful given that I've paid thousands of dollars for exams, glasses and contacts since 2004. And, my husband used them for at least 5 years before me. Maybe this prescription I'm using from 2014 is as good as it gets. Maybe someone else can find a better solution. I don't know, but I think giving TSO 3 tries to get it right is enough. Now, I'm exploring options to get my deposit back . Very disappointed.

Dr Montemayor is awesome! He is extremely knowledgable and his staff is very knowledgable and kind too. I feel like they welcome you as if you are family. Very refreshing experience :)

I've been seeing Dr. Montemayor for years. He's always been caring for his patients, takes time to let discuss status and listen to them.

He is I a great optometrist doctor, pleasant manner and professional. The staff is professional as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Montemayor for over 20 years. He and his office staff are the best!
