Picked up these new specs on Friday, October 24, 2025. Established in 1968, Smith's carries an incredible selection of unique new and vintage frames you CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE at UNBEATABLE PRICES! I've been a customer for many years. Owner Phil, Carlos, and Rachel will take good care of you! Tell them Jose sent you! By the way, I recommend the optometrists at Riz Eye Care at the Walmart on I-10 East (North Shore)! They have great availability for appointments and affordable prescriptions.

I stopped in here to try on 2 frames I liked on the website. First of all they have a large variety of frames in both price and style. There's something for everybody! I tried on soo many frames I liked. But let me tell you, I took the frames to the gentleman to check out. He said the frame I chose came in a glossy finish as well. Cool these are cute. He said if I like those then I might like another pair, and my stars, they were IT! They're a beautiful emerald colored frames, that I love already. I'm getting the prescription filled at my optician's office. I tried the glasses on so many times, just eager to wear them! When I tried the glasses on, very pleased with option he brought out, there was customer nearby who said every pair of frames she has he's picked them out! This is their thing! They'll be my go to from now on for all things glasses! I'll find out the name of the gentleman who helped me

I love this place so much. I get all of my glasses from here. The store has unique, affordable, and vintage frames that you just can't find anywhere else! Just bring your prescription, and they will fill the frames you choose with different options/add ons for the lenses if you wish. I always get compliments on glasses I get from there, and I highly recommend Smith's! Thank you, Philip and team for having an awesome store in Houston!

I came here around 11 to see if I can get some cheap frames that fit around my lenses from my broken frames and I was not let down at all! Soo much variety and the worker (who I wish I got the name of) brought out boxes from an old event they had, which I then found the cutest lenses for so cheap. My lenses gapped a little but he used an old method of shrinking the plastic lenses and using metal to carefully fit the gaps -- nonetheless, he did amazing and I left with awesome glasses. He was so patient and helped my boyfriend with his new order too! He also played some really good music.
