Spectacles on Montrose

The gentleman kindly fixed my sunglasses within minutes that I couldn't get fixed in other places. He also did it free of charge. Just wanted to express my gratitude!

Their work is on the pricey side but what you get is amazing service and an extremely smart and talented optometrist. He fixed an eye issue multiple other eye doctors failed to figure out. Incredible work

I used to LOVE this place for its customer service and selection; I recommended it to a LOT of people. But my last experience was very bad. And during one of the many times I had to come in to correct a problem, there was another person complaining about the same thing. I'm sad to say I wasted a lot of money here, and I can no longer recommend it. Unfortunately, it's time for me to find a new eye doctor.

Buyer beware. My negative review was just removed from this website. The doctor recommended a pair of lovely, expensive glasses to me knowing I wear bifocals. When the glasses proved impossible for me to use I got the cold shoulder. The doctor then called me claiming he did not know what had happened but now he is back online to say he would have offered to exchange the ones he sold me for a pair that work. Absolutely the best solution! I will believe it when I see it because I am not the only costumer who has reported the same problem.

This was the best experience I have encountered purchasing glasses. Ben, the manager, was expertly knowledgeable. He gave me honest feedback and educated me. I also met the owner, Evan, who was welcoming and set the tone for an enjoyable environment to purchase eyewear!

I purchased a pair of glasses on 1/3/20. I liked them in the store but once I got home I wasn't crazy about them. They cost $450. That was not including the lenses ($220). I brought them back today, because I was not happy with them, and I wanted a refund. I was told that I could have a store credit but I could not have a refund. It was my fault for not asking about the return policy before I made the purchase. The sales clerk should have stated there wouldn't Be a refund issued but a store credit if you were not happy with what you purchased. He was very nice when I went in to purchase my glasses but had a stank attitude when i asked him to return my glasses. I will not shop here again.

Great place! Went for an eye exam and contact fitting and was so happy with the results. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous. And Dr. Mapes was attentive, listened carefully to my questions and had me out the door with much better vision than I entered with. If you need a new eye doc or just a new pair of glasses this is the place to go.
