I've been coming to Robin since I was 19 and I am now 34. During the years she has created 2 beautiful eyes for me. I come to her faithfully every 6 months for a polish, I am actually just leaving her office now! If you need a prosthetic or simply someone to polish your prosthetic I would highly suggest choosing Texas eye prosthetics. They were with me during the process of losing my eye (showing much compassion) and are still with me 15 years later.

Robin is amazing! Her daughter, Rachel, is lovely as well. Robin has made the best looking eye I've ever had (and I've had one for 34+ years) and I've got a tricky hazel color to match. She does awesome work and helped me work with my optometrist to have the insurance company cover the actual eye.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Robin and Rachel's awesome work. They just completed my grandsons second prosthetic and it is amazing! It has completely changed his mood and his confidence. He says it's the best thing that has happened to him in as long as he can remember. They truly are perfectionist and it shows in their work. Thank you so much.

I nor anyone I know personally has had any experience with a fake eye. So we had no idea what to expect and " is it done right, is this the best that can be done, could someone else do better etc... so I just waited a few months before writing this review. Everyone that knows us said it looks real, the final straw was when I went to a regular optometrist for the first time she had no idea as I did not disclose it and she was like i'm having a hard time getting a reading, your pupil is not reactive to the light she was freaking out. Once I told her she said WOW, tell me who did this excellent work. I think that should sum up my review!!!

I have been going to see Robin at Texas Eye Prosthetics for more than 5 years. I have been the proud owner of several prosthetic eyes (34 of my 35 years on earth) and Robin's was the best fit and most closely matched to my 'good' eye by FAR -- she is definitely an artist in her trade. I have never had anything but the best service with the utmost care about my eye's well-being. I would highly recommend Texas Eye Prosthetics any day.

zi have been extremely pleased and grateful for the creation and maintenance of my prosthetic eye. It is so realistic, no one notices that one eye is different. The eye itself is an exact duplicate, down to the tiny red veins I wish weren't there. Robyn Dudash has always been professional and helpful, even when I've made emergency calls to her. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance to have my artificial eyes cleaned. I had several conversations with the office manager, Nancy, regarding my insurance with Humana and the day before my appointment I called the office to give them my insurance pre approval authorization number. When I showed up Robin called me to the back and told me that "I can make money off of cleaning your eye with your insurance and them blamed my insurance for not sending her an official notice of the authorization. All they had to do was call my insurance company, but no they wait will I show up to tell me she would not clean my eye. It is clear her only motivation is making money and patient care mean nothing to her. I would recommend that you look at other options in Houston

I'm happy with their results. Watching them hand make the prosthesis was fascinating. Fits fine and has held up well since. It's effectively invisible, if I mention I have a "glass eye" people don't believe me. It looks very real. I've no complaints and am grateful the business is being passed to the next generation. There are so few places doing this level of work it's good to know that they'll probably be around longer than I will.
