I felt very well taken care of, everyone is an excellent professional, they were very kind, I highly recommend their services. Just today there was a special event and I received a pair of sunglasses as a gift.

I have loved TSO because of how convenient the location is, when dr Waltz was there it was an incredible clinic and he was fantastic. Since he's gone everything has gone down hill, a couple of years ago one of the front desk ladies refused to help me order contacts, she said she wasn't able to do it that I needed to take the exam since I was due for it, which I understood but then on the website it allowed me to order the contacts I still had a month available to order so she clearly wasn't wanting to help me. This year, I went back and decided to give it another try, I was getting my contacts, after the second try the new Asian doctor told me it seemed like I was more comfortable no wearing a contact on one eye. When I went back, the other doctor, she is super knowledgeable, she wears a hijab, gave me some other options for that eye and I wasn't pleased. I needed to go back for a special exam and that other eye contacts and I just feel like the front desk people are just not willing to help, I thought the doctor had giving me a price, which was not the high $475 they mentioned to me and I wanted to use my insurance but they couldn't give me the exact price I was going to pay, when I asked how much I was going to pay with the insurance, I was given the same amount as if I'm stupid. I really don't know much about insurances but I know is not going to be the same amount after insurance and if I don't know how much I'm going to need to pay out of pocket, I don't feel comfortable going. Even the doctor had told me "it's not going to break the bank," maybe not hers but mine maybe, its seems like they don't want to he asked about prices. I just canceled my appointment. I would recommend anybody to save themselves a headache and go somewhere where they are willing to help you and kindly will help you understand everything you need to know before going to your appointment.

I had an amazing experience at Texas State Optical - West University! They got me in same day for an eye exam, and the entire team was so friendly and transparent about pricing. With my Aetna POS II insurance, I only paid about $140 total for frames, prescription lenses, scratch-resistant, and blue-light protection -- it would've been over $600 without insurance. They use modern, up-to-date technology (as well as the classics), but you still get that personal, attentive care. Stephanie at the front desk and Dr. Emily Pham were both fantastic -- warm, professional, and genuinely caring. The whole process felt easy, fast, and thorough. I left with new glasses and total confidence in my care. Highly recommend this location to anyone in Houston -- especially if you want honest pricing, great service, and a team that truly takes care of you.

I've had chronic migraines for nearly 15 years, which have gotten more intense over the past couple of years. I expressed what was going on with Dr. Butt who recommended I try Neurolens - I wasn't sure they would help, but after having them on the last 3 months I've stopped taking my migraine meds and my migraines are much less intense. Dr. Butt offered a 3 month follow up to see how I was like them and adjust my Rx if needed. I had a really great experience and appreciate the whole team!

Great Service today at TSO Briargrove. Dr. Pham was very thorough and explained everything in detail which was very helpful. Stephanie and other associate were very professional, knowledgable and friendly. Everyone was kind and it was a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Wonderful staff, state of the art equipment, and their optometrists take their time to explain everything which is such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended, TSO Briargrove is the best optometrist around.

I had a very negative experience with Lejoy Polley. The business was not honest or transparent during our interaction, and I felt taken advantage of. I would strongly recommend being cautious and making sure everything is in writing before doing any business. Don't come here unless you want to get scammed

I hadn't been to TSO Briargrove in I guess ten years? They still had me in the system! What a team over there, very professional all! My super star is Joyce! She took me all the way through to receiving my glasses, she is awesome!! And LaRosa got my glasses in WAY earlier than I thought possible. You'll have a good experience here if you need eye care.
