Today's Vision-Downtown

Dr.Chow has been my optometrist for over 20 years. I would recommend anyone to her for excellent client care and amazing customer service.

I really like today's vision, I know I'm due to have my eyes checked but I will take care of Monday for an appointment but there's a lot of selections on eyeglasses they're very helpful.. the doctors are very nice ... I would recommend today's vision to anyone needing to get their eyes checked.. the staff are fantastic

There was only one gentleman assisting me and another family. He was courteous and patient but it took sometime to get the help I needed because he was busy with the other people. Overall he was good but they didn't have a wide range of lenses to choose from. Some of the brand they had when I was there on Oct. 2018 were: Gucci Mont Blanc Police Kenneth Cole Gant Oakley Other generic brands

Had to reschedule my appointment twice because they booked someone else over me. They were helpful in explaining beforehand what my insurance did and didn't cover so there were no surprise charges even though it was expensive (insurance fault, not theirs). But, the service I received during the eye exam from both the techs and the doctor was great. Very up front and explained what they were doing and showed me the strange scans of my eyes. They were very personable and laughed at my jokes. Contacts arrived quickly after I ordered them and they called to remind me about them.

I have been coming here since 2004 when I worked downtown. Now I bring my entire family with me for exams. My children are 6 and 10 and I can say that I would not recommend for children. The doctor was not very patient and through with my 6 year old even though I told him it was his first real eye exam. I would have loved more care and interactions because he has been having issues with his vision, but the doctor never asked any questions about my concerns. He also didn't take time to explain to the process and procedures of what to expect during the exam. We had 4 appointments back to back, but we were herded through and finished way ahead of schedule, so I know he could have take more time with my son. He rushed through the "which is better" portion and I am hoping that the prescription my son needs is accurate because he didn't give him enough time to process and respond to the questions. I would not recommend this place for children as the provider is not well versed and patient enough with them. It also took over two weeks for our frames to be ready and I had to continue to check on the status of them. The front desk team and staff are great.

Dr. Kong scheduled me in on short notice. I arrived and Lily quickly and professionally got all my paperwork in order. She then got the initial eye exam interview completed quickly and pleasantly. The process was smooth and polished. Dr. Kong then came in and reviewed the data and went over everything with me again to ensure we were both on the same page. He explained his processes to me each step of the way through my official eye exam. We had a casual discussion about my options and there was no pressure to buy my poor eyesight's solution in store even though they had everything I may have wanted or needed right there. The location is clean, well lit and comfortable. Simple yet professional, comfortable yet efficient. If you don't like being rushed and do like getting your questions answered in an easy to understand fashion then this is the place to go for your eye care. Dr. Kong's relaxed yet professional manner towards helping me really drove me to write this review. Two thumbs up and THANKS!

Today's Vision Downtown is an amazing location. Elizabeth D. is always so extremely helpful and efficient! She goes above and beyond her job duties to deliver the highest amount of customer service. I never thought I would ever look forward to going to the eye doctor, but thanks to the atmosphere she creates with her customer service and laughter, I always look forward to going. Dr. Kong is also a very professional and friendly O.D. He nailed my prescription despite my high level of astigmatism and I see better now than I have in a long time. I would highly recommend this team of healthcare professionals to anyone!

I had gone to Dr. Chow for years while I worked downtown. After I retired I went to a closer location. It was "ok" but nothing special. This year I went back to Dr. Chow and although it was a long drive, it was totally worth it. Oh and they validate parking! Dr. Chow is always willing to spend however long it takes to make sure I am happy with my toric contacts. This year I had to try out different lenses multiple time because they discontinued the ones I was using. Dr. Chow worked with me until they were just right. I highly recommended Dr. Chow at Today's Vision Downtown Houston!!
