VIDA VISION LLC

The doctor requires a retina scan as part of an eye exam. This isn't covered by insurance and you can't opt out if using insurance. I thought this was a shady way to increase their billing so decided to go elsewhere.

Been coming to Vida Vision for 2 years. My usual vision insurance co-pay is $10 so I was surprised when my copay today was going to be $30. I asked them why the high price and they said that was now the 'new co-pay' amount for me. Turns out the retina scan/dilation is now a 'requirement' in their office--an additional $20. This was not the case in my two prior visits. What is really deceiving is that they were not going to tell me until they were going to take me to the back for the 'scan'. I said I didn't need a scan and asked if that was why I was being charged $30 and the receptionist came clean and said yes. I left before the exam. Very disappointed since they could've said that to begin with when I asked them and they didn't. I checked my insurance policy again and it clearly states the co-pay is $10 and the retina scan is optional but if I choose to get it I will pay extra. This isn't about the $20 extra but the fact that they were trying to charge an additional amount and didn't want to be upfront about it. Please be aware of your insurance co-pay before visiting! I will be looking for a new doctor.

Ms. Tate and staff are the most passionate, accurate eye doctor I have met in a minute. I can see so clearly. Llove them.

I had my first appointment today at Vida Vision Gulfgate with Dr. Khawaja. She was very professional and took the time to go over all the issues I am having with my eyes. I can definitely recommend her. Also, the entire staff was welcoming and friendly.

First ever visit and the service was top notch. Both the receptionist and the doctor got me in an out incredibly fast during my lunch break. I was able to easily make an appointment online on a very short notice. The atmosphere was friendly and professional. Was able to get my prescription within 15 minutes of arriving. Will most definitely return again.

Facility is clean and staff were very fast. Had an appointment at 10:15am, was seen a few minutes before that time and was done before 10:30am. Doctor explained the images and compared my vision from my last visit until my recent visit. Will continue to go here for my annual exam.

I lost one of my contacts and couldn't make it 40+ miles to get a replacement from my doctors office in sugar land. Brought my replacement to Vida vision and they helped me with a replacement without hesitation after being turned down elsewhere. Incredible experience
