Westside Eye Care

Stopped by yesterday for an eye exam and it went great. The dr took her time to make sure and find the perfect prescription. I hadn't gotten an eye exam in a while due to a terrible experience with another place. I couldn't wait any longer to update my prescription and I definitely picked the right optometrist to see.

Dr Nguyen has been my optometrist for many years. She listens closely to my concerns and genuinely cares about my vision needs. I highly recommend her and Westside Eye Care.

The sisters have taken care of us and our kids for 11 years. She told me to when meds were causing damage, got us through kids eye accidents, and when I had to get progressive lenses. I priced recently- they are still best for eye exam and you are getting the quality eye exam from a really talented eye doctor.

I have been going to Westside for 7 years, and Dr. Thao has been wonderful. She is very attentive to my concerns and answers all my questions directly. Since seeing her I have had corrective surgery and now only have routine eye exams, but I had contact lenses and glasses fittings for a few years. The store selection is decent and I had no issues getting what I needed.

12/4 - THIS BUSINESS IS CORRUPT!!! TOOK 6 WEEKS FOR ME TO GET MY GLASSES WHEN I WAS TOLD 7-10 DAYS. THEY TRIED TO SELL ME SOME USED FRAMES FROM THE DISPLAY INSTEAD OF BRAND NEW FRAMES. I LEFT 3 MESSAGES FOR DR. AMY TO CALL AND DISCUSS HER HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SHE WOULD NOT CALL ME BACK! THEY DO NOT TEST YOUR SIGHT IN YOUR NEW GLASSES BEFORE YOU LEAVE!! I've been wearing glasses for years and have NEVER been to an eye Dr. that did not test my site in my new lenses or check the look and fit of the glasses on my face! THAT'S JUST LAZY BUSINESS PRACTICES! I just got a "how do they fit?" SAID IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM TO CONTACT THEM. STUPID BUSINESS PRACTICE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE PLACE! GET YOUR CORRECTIVE LENSES ELSEWHERE. I'n addition, the office is also not clean looking with stains and dirt all over the carpet and the chairs in the rooms are old and dirty and the office looks unorganized. UPDATE!! I was told my glasses would be ready in 7-10 days which they were. I was also told that I would received a NEW frame and not the ones that were on display. 8 days later, I was told my glasses were ready. When I went to pick them up, they did not test my eyes with the glasses on. Weird! Told me if there was a problem to let them know. I noticed damage on the frames. I went to look to see if the frames were on display and they were not. They sold me my glasses with the frame that was on DISPLAY when I was told that I would not get frames that had been on display!! A new frame was ordered, but it had not come in yet and it would be another 2 weeks! I DO NOT recommend Westside Eye Care!! IMy experience here was great. This was actually my 3rd time coming here for my exam. Called in the morning, scheduled an eye exam for that afternoon. Thorough exams, helpful, friendly customer service from everyone. I found a few pair of frames I liked and they helped pick the ones that looked the best. I do wish they offered flashier, ultra contemporary frames.

Dr.Thao is very friendly and nice. She is very knowledgeable and makes going to the eye doctor painless. I enjoyed my visit today!!

I am very grateful to the doctor for taking care of my daughter. She was extremely patient and kind during the appointment, explaining everything clearly and simply. The appointment was very thorough and the price charged was fair. We will definitely return whenever we need to.

Dr. Thao at West Side Eye Care is amazing! She's thorough, kind, and takes her time to explain everything in a way that's easy to understand. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Plus, their prices are really affordable, even if you don't have insurance. I'm so glad I found this place! highly recommend it to anyone who needs great eye care!
