The entire staff took the time to listen to my concerns, and asked follow up questions to make sure they understood my needs. Kristy helped me pick out the perfect frames after asking me what I was looking for, and made good recommendations for the lenses based on my lifestyle. I am very pleased with Berkeley Eye Center!

I received a much needed eye exam with Dr. Roach and the level of care was exceptional. She was thorough, attentive, and made sure I understood every part of the exam. Afterward, I selected a pair of frames and Lucy assisted me with the entire process. She was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She made the experience smooth, easy, and fast, which I truly appreciated. I left feeling confident in my decision and even recommended this establishment to a couple of my friends based on that first visit. Unfortunately, my follow up experience was very different. When I returned to pick up my glasses, I was assisted by Kristy. From the start she was short with me and dismissive. Without asking any questions about my prescription, preferences, or the frames I brought in, she immediately told me that lenses could not be made for my other pair of frames. There was no explanation, no attempt to problem solve, and no interest in understanding what I needed. Because the response felt abrupt and unhelpful, I took those same frames to another eyeglass store in The Woodlands. They examined them without issue, explained my options clearly, and had no problem accepting my business or completing the work. Their willingness to help made the contrast in customer service very clear. My initial visit set high expectations, and I truly wish the consistency of service had continued.

I highly recommend this establishment. Initially, I just walked in to look at glasses because the office is next door to a boutique I like to shop at, but the staff was so warm and kind that I ended up scheduling my next appointment with Berkeley Eye Center and switching over eye doctors. Very nice people. The doctor is down to earth and easy to work with. Lucy is great, she got me set up with my new glasses, quickly and easily! Amanda, Roxy, and Vanessa were also excellent.

I've been coming here for several years for my eye appointments, and the customer service has always been excellent. Scheduling is easy, the reminders are helpful, and the wait time is always minimal. Lucy assisted me with choosing my new frame and immediately knew which one of the two I selected would suit my face best. She clearly explained the costs and the discounts I qualified for. Outstanding service!

I love Berkeley Eye Center! Not only is Dr. B fantastic but the entire staff is amazing. Special shout-out to Lucy (optician) who is a joy to work with every single time: knowledgeable, helpful, patient, kind, and funny! Makes buying glasses a breeze. I won't go anywhere else.

I have been a patient at Berkeley Eye Center for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always pleasant and very attentive. Amanda and Roxy went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of at my visit today. I love Dr. Brumbelow and his staff! Thank you for all you do!!!

My husband and I went in together for our eye exams & glasses. The Huntsville office is JOY-FILLED. I gathered names so I could brag here. Amanda & Roxy at the front desk are informative, helpful, and clearly enjoy their work. I initially saw Danae, and she was knowledgeable and helped answer some questions (I was getting glasses for the first time). She shared some personal experience with her own glasses that helped me in my decision. Vanessa got us in to see Dr. Brumbelow, and she managed to collect all the information he needed recorded while also having fun with us. (We may have sung a few tunes together.) Dr. Brumbelow is kind, lighthearted, helpful, and professional; I trust him, and I appreciate that he listens (few docs do these days). Lucy helped us with choosing frames/lenses. Again, she managed to efficiently do her job while also keeping us entertained (Her experience with fishing wraparound glasses was spot on for my husband). I recommend this Huntsville location to everyone. It is obviously a healthy, caring work environment for the staff. They have genuine respect for each other and their clients. Is it odd to say I look forward to next year's exam? Ha! If you haven't selected an optometrist, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brumbelow and his staff at Berkeley Eye Center in Huntsville, Texas.

Dr. Brumbelow and his staff are great. The appointment was informative and everyone was helpful and thoughtful. Lucy helped me pick out a few frames, then she, Roxy and Amanda helped pick which ones they thought fit my face better as I had no preference. After Lucy walked me through pricing for everything out-of-pocket which was cheaper than I expected. Amanda made both the check-in and payment process quick and easy and Meridith's prep for me to see Dr. Brumbelow was efficient with her warning about slight stinging for the numbing drops appreciated. After 10 yrs without seeing an eye doctor, I'm glad I chose their office.
