I do not recommend Dr Grady at BEI. I came to him for some vision/eye concerns. He found dry eye and Glucoma. I appreciate his attention to this but the way he treated me as a patient in his care was inexcusable. I saw him 4 times. Things went well until I asked about ways to cut my cost by using a generic eye drop. He absolutely would not agree with me and said they would not work. He would not prescribe them. But the real reason I do not recommend him comes from his personal treatment towards me. Not once, but the last 3 visits he walked out of the room to go check something and left me sitting in the room waiting for him to return with information about what he went to check. He never came back to the room. I sat there each time, once with the door wide open, for 10-20 minutes wondering whether he was coming back or not. Finally, someone would ask if I had been helped. Then I would be discharged with no explanation as to how the glucoma was progressing on the $150 medication. After the third time he abandoned me in the room, I finally decided to go to another eye doctor. The new doctor was happy to prescribe the generic eye medication ($30). And he is please with my response to the medication. He has always helped me to understand his process. And never leaves without allowing me to ask questions. And this is what I expect from my doctor. I'm not sure about the other services that BEI and Dr Grady offer. I can only speak to my experience. I say, do your research and know that you may have better options out there.

Great doctor but be prepared to WAIT!!! Staff is ok, not the friendliest but I've seen a lot worse. He did a lens replacement on my right eye and the last 2 appointments, (follow ups), I had to wait almost an hour PAST my appointment time before I was even called back to an exam room So sad that the Professionals of today have no consideration for their clients' time. But on the bright side, I do have 2025 vision in my eye now.

Would not recommend this place at all! As soon as you walk in the front desk ladies are very rude , not friendly at all . The rest of the staff are the same , they are like robots . Not friendly at all , not to mention the wait and taking you from room to room. I waited 3.5 hours . The Dr , well about the same. Does not take the time to explain your results and doesn't seem to care about your eye health, does not pay attention to your questions or concerns . It's all about the money . Worst place ever ,

Dr Grady and staff have done an amazing job treating me. Highly recommended for anyone needing eye care.

Referred here as an emergency work-in, so I expected a wait. However, I arrived at 12:20 PM and ended up leaving without being seen at 4:00 PM. When I asked for a time estimate before leaving, I got the same generic response: 'Different techs do different things, so that's why some people are being pulled back faster.' I understand that, but I just needed an estimate so I could step out and return if necessary. I also saw at least two people who had their appointments rescheduled and left due to the long wait. Definitely a disappointing experience.

Very poor communication and snotty attitudes from the desk staff absolutely would not recommend wasting your time

Knowing the legacy Dr Frank Grady left behind he would not like to be represented by a staff member by the name of Paula! My family have respected this family of practitioners for a very long time. Old school values still have a place in today's services and those should be here to serve the need of those in their communities. My mother was treated very poorly by this staff member who basically told my mom that because her chart didn't make it to her desk to schedule surgery it's too late for her to have her procedure done this year, when Dr J Grady advised my mom she would be hearing from the scheduler within the week, that was early November of this year and when I advised mom to call she was not treated with respect but with attitude and basically to feel she was just another number. I am a healthcare professional myself and have seen the decline of respect and plain decency for a patient for which we are able to keep our jobs. My hope is that this will be heard and the problem corrected.

Yes expect to be there a while, this is not a drive thru eye Doctor. They take their time with every patient and that's what I love about this place. Dr. Grady is the best eye Doctor I've ever seen, He takes his time and does not rush in and out of the exam room. Best eye exam experience I've ever had, these people really care about their patients. Great staff with the exception of the front desk girls, they are not very friendly. I definitely will continue to see Dr Grady for all my eye care needs.
