Clean and cozy office. However, I had to wait 15 minutes over my appointment. Ophthalmologist got back from her lunch 15min late. She didn't even say sorry. Clear vision..! you charge late or no show customer $35. I wonder What you can do for 15min over the appointment waiting customer? Please be professional.

Someone else based on her findings in retina imaging. Now the reason for 4 star is, I wish the front desk team verified my insurance in advance and told me that Costco won't accept my insurance and I should pay out of network fee. I was charged $120 after my appointment when I could have gotten the same tests for $50 or less with a provider that is in-network. Over all great experience with the doctor and also with their team that supports eye glasses and frames.

I had a great experience getting my appointment set up and felt very taken care of by both Dr. Timmer and the front desk staff about 2 months ago. Once I received my trial lenses, I was instructed to call back, so they could put in an order.
However, I have attempted to contact the office three times now and have been met by voicemail each time. I left a voicemail after hours on 10/16 and they understandably did not answer. Unfortunately, when I tried to reach out on Friday (10/24) and today (10/27) during business hours I had to leave a voicemail. I have left my name, phone number, and birth date but have not received any communication from them yet.
It is disappointing because I had such a great initial experience at this office and now I cannot seem to get in contact with them for a basic service.

The front desk guy has a really terrible attitude. I scheduled an eye exam for my wife. He asked us to fill all blanks in the new patient form even it's not highlighted. I filled all necessary information but he said it's not enough. We need to fill all detail information in the form. I asked to see the doctor first. He told me the doctor is not available. This is very ridiculous! I usually don't leave bad reviews but this guy really give us a bad experience. Not recommended! Fake 4.8 star

I generally hate writing bad reviews because I believe in giving businesses a second chance. But here's why I strongly recommend avoiding this location (office located at Costco Lewisville):
1. Neil is the person who works the front desk has a bad attitude. Short, doesn't maintain eye contact, changes what he says. So that's the first disappointment.
2. Predatory pricing & upselling. Double-dipping into both insurance payout and Customer's wallet.
The only reason we went here is for convenience (since our family fills all our prescriptions at Costco Opticals in Lewisville) and we came to regret it.
I shared my experience with a couple of friends who are loyal Costco Lewisville customers like we are - they shared my negative sentiments. Not sure why this business has high rating on Google reviews - guess most of the other reviews are probably fake. Sigh!
