I had a great experience at Dr. Gibson's optometry office during my yearly prescription appointment. Dr. Gibson is excellent at what he does and truly takes the time to make sure you understand your eye health. He's professional, thorough, and genuinely caring. The staff was also wonderful. I love Dr. Van Moore. I've been seeing him (clearly) lol, since I was 8. 33 years later and he is still the same, patient, sweet, knowledgeable optometrist he was all those years ago. Each year I go in I ask him about retirement and I truly think he has no plans for it, so this tells me he loves what he does. I highly recommend him and will be sad when he actually does retire and I'm searching for someone as good as him.
**as for the office staff, it's not uncommon to have one person who just genuinely seems rude and unhappy to be there. Overall, still a great place for eye exams and glasses. Leaving 5 stars solely for Dr. Moore. **

My family and I have been seeing Van Moore for 12+ years. He always remembers us, genuinely cares and makes me feel like I'm visiting family. The staff has changed some over time, but they're always so sweet and helpful. In the dozens of times we've visited, I have zero complaints. My most recent visit, I was accompanied by my 17 month old son and the staff seemed to enjoy his company! I was so impressed. They've always taken excellent care of my teenager as well. Also my eyes are in great shape!!!

I had an emergency situation; a tiny fragment of metal in my eye. I found them online and called, they got me in the same day. The doctor quickly removed the offender. He was thorough and informative about the situation. The office staff were all very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend!!
