I came in expecting to use a deal I saw online, but quickly realized it wasn't the right fit for what I needed. That's when Madison stepped in and completely changed the experience for the better. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through every option without making me feel rushed or pressured.
Madison helped me choose frames that actually complement my face, clearly explained lens options, and then worked very hard to get me the best possible price. Watching her navigate discounts and product options was like witnessing professional-level sales gymnastics--all with a great attitude.
Because of Madison, I walked out with exactly what I needed and a very positive impression of Stanton Optical as a whole. Employees like her truly make the company look good, and retaining skilled, knowledgeable sales associates like Madison is essential. I don't usually leave reviews, but her level of service absolutely deserved one. If you're considering Stanton Optical, ask for Madison--you'll be glad you did

Went because it was listed with my insurance. I arrive and was treated horribly from the start was never asked for my insurance and when I did present it was told it was a 3rd party insurance. Had to be a little aggressive just so they would use my insurance copay was still over $850. A week later and no call or notification about my glasses. I look them up online and they have been ready. I go to pick them up and again with the attitude was asked why I was there if I hadn't received a text, I advised I looked it up online and was met with an eye roll. Pick up my glasses and run to the restroom on my way out I hear the attendant talking about me negatively! Will never go back and will be advising anyone I meet to never go.

Really wish they had the actual doctor doing exams not just digital. Feels a little impersonal and rushed.
But Alyssa was a great associate! She helped find cute frames within budget. Alyssa was also very thorough with explaining the prices and options available.

Stanton Optical was an amazing experience. The lady that helped me get service was amazing. I had minimal funds and the doctor had to go grab her for approval for everything, but at the end of the day I ended up with 2 free glasses prescriptions, and an amazing experience with their staff. Their customer service phone line could use some work but if you walk in there and talk with the people they will get you taken care of. I think the lady's names was Sara. Also the main doctor was very informative and helpful as well sorry I can't remember the names

my husband and I went into the Lubbock location. I received my exam and was given my script. My husband however was not they wanted him to come back to the store for another exam by a doctor there. They wasted his time driving from Plainview making sitting in an exam getting everything needed for a prescription to get sorely needed glasses. The script was right he told them everything needed about sight issues with left eye. and they wasted his time and my time. I will tell everyone how horrible the service was - he had to find out about not having his script when he bought up the frames he had chosen as they told him to go choose the frames. They lost not just the sales that they would have had from us but everyone else we can tell- I have more to say but none of it positive- telemed optometry is the worst way to do business if they cant give out the scripts then it shouldn't exist. They didn't even offer any kind of compensation or anything for wasting his time. If less than a star could be given it would be.

I went in on a Sunday, and I was asked if I had insurance when I told her I did she told me I couldn't use it because I didnt have a physical card. I went in on Monday to pick up the 2 pair I purchased on Sunday and to purchase 2 more pair for my daughter and they took my insurance with no problem. Unfortunately I still waiting for 3 pairs of glasses, but I wasn't there for long.
