Best experience at an eye doctor's office I have had so far. Eye exam for prescription was very thorough but also quick. He was very informative about eye health. His office staff asked which eye test (such as glaucoma test) I wanted, have additional pricing & had me fill out forms. Only other eye doctor I've been to doesn't give you those options just does all the test without asking out mentioning how much it will cost. That's why I switched over to him.

Called me the day before to confirm my eye exam appointment and then canceled my appointment because I was 10 minutes late. Nobody in the lobby but my appointment was canceled. No call or anything and the lady at the desk is very rude and doesn't seem to care about anything. Just sitting on the phone when I came in. 6/6/25

Going to the optometrist can be like buying a used car now a days. First visit and will definitely go back. The staff and the optometrist were great. No sales pressure. Most places after the exam will walk you over to the sales person and make you feel some kind of way if you only get the exam without purchasing glasses that day. If you want a good quality exam and no sales pressure come here!

I have seen Dr. Warshaw for at least 8 years. This time I make the appointment, they verify insurance, I take off work come in and all of a sudden they "temporarily don't take my insurance." Seriously. When doing the schedule for the day, call the patient with that certain insurance on the schedule and cancel hours before. That's professionalism and office management.

I've seen Dr Washaw and got a perfect eye exam. I had an eye doctor that over charged me and didn't do a good exam. My glasses were useless! I came to see Dr Warshaw a year later and he helped my vision and he was very concerned about a bleeding vessel. He had me follow up with him to see if I would need a ophthalmologist. Thank God it was no longer there. So now my whole family sees him as well! His staff is also very friendly!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I called 2 weeks ago to schedule an appointment, but apparently whomever I spoke with didn't bother to put my appointment in the computer. So, when I arrived for my appointment, the person at the front desk gave me a dirty look and said I didn't have an appointment. When I told her I had made one 2 weeks ago, she asked me if I was sure I had called the right number. I pulled up the number with the time stamp on my phone. She said, "Well, you don't have an appointment. You can make one for next week." She was rude and not at all empathetic. I will never ever see David Warshaw for an eye appointment because his staff is incompetent and rude.

Best eye doctor in Lubbock! Wonderful and attentive man who really cares about his patients. The staff is friendly and professional. Don't hesitate to choose Dr. Warshaw for your optometrist!

My family has been getting eye exams for years at Dr Warshaws office. Him and his staff are always friendly and helpful.
