Memorial Eye Center - Missouri City

My recent visit to Memorial Eye Center was excellent. The entire staff and doctor were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. They took their time with my exam, never rushed through any part of the process, and made sure all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I truly appreciated the level of care and attention they provided. Additionally, my glasses were ready much faster than I expected, which was a great bonus. Overall, the experience was wonderful from start to finish, and I'm very satisfied with the service I received.

I'm giving 1 star to Memorial Eye Center because of the extremely poor customer service from a young, short Black female staff member who had a very bad attitude and seemed more focused on getting me to spend extra money than actually helping. It honestly felt like she was trying to take advantage of the situation. However, I want to recognize the white female manager, who handled everything professionally and corrected the issue with my eyeglasses. If she hadn't stepped in, I could have lost even more money over a mistake they made. Management professionalism saved this experience, but the front staff attitude needs serious improvement.

My eye doctor, Dr. Doan is wonderful! She's extremely skilled, kind, and always makes me feel comfortable during my visits. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!

Always a great experience with the doctors here for exams, so I hate writing this review. But I feel it's honest to let others know, do not order your actual lenses, frames or contacts with them. The front desk will overcharge you for products and hope you don't notice or question it. My husband found a pair of frames in the lobby and inquired about ordering them and lenses. The total was over $900, after insurance, according to the receptionist. I immediately asked, what???? $900 for just one pair of glasses? If we bundled with contacts (6months supply) she told us the price would be $750 because of their "discount". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They wanted half a mortgage payment for 1 pair of glasses and contacts, AFTER insurance? The entire front office had to have heard our transaction and confusion but no one said anything, the young lady helping us acted as if we were being cheap and this was normal. We left because we genuinely felt like we were being scammed. We wondered if the front desk worked on commission with the way she was talking to us and being purposefully unclear. When I called a few days later to report it, the person on the phone looked up what my order would be and quoted me just over $300. I don't know where the disconnect was, because I was VERY clear we wanted ONE pair of glasses, but the varying price quotes (over $400 in difference?????) will definitely cost you customers and good business. There is no trusting a business with these practices.

I love this location. The customer service here is AMAZING!! The doctor her is very friendly and professional. She genuinely cares about her customers. This is a solid HONEST business and I percent RECOMMEND them!!

Excellent clinic with professional and caring staff. The doctor took time to explain everything clearly and made my son feel comfortable throughout the visit. Modern equipment, clean office, and quick service. Highly recommend for anyone needing eye care.
