My Eye Doctor, Missouri City, TX 77459 earned this 5 Star review by operating at the highest level, hugely impressing me. They are the best Eye Care Center, Optometrist in Houston, and the greater Houston area without question. Providing world class, compassionate care. I drive from Katy to Missouri City for their exceptional service. When it comes to patient / provider relationships, trust is everything. I trust Dr. Deepak Kotecha, OD, and his team to take care of my vision and more. I found them when I was working in the retail center where they are located, had a break, and decided to go there to inquire about Eye Examinations. I was greeted warmly by their Store Manager James and when I explained to him that over the last 5 years, when I started using 1.25 magnification reading glasses, then 1.5 magnification reading glasses for reading only I thought it was due to age and too much screen time. He recommended that I schedule an eye evaluation and inquired about my vision insurance coverage. I provided him with my Blue Cross Blue Shield, PPO insurance card. He quickly put the information into their system and let me know that my policy included vision and asked, "Have you ever used it?" I replied, "No." He then asked me, "Would you like me to schedule you an Eye Evaluation with one of our Eye Doctors?" I replied, "Sure; however, I will not be back in the area until the week of February 9th". He scheduled my appointment for February 11th, 2026, at 3:00 PM. That appointment was life changing in an incredibly positive way. Through the course of my eye evaluation, I learned that I had stigmatisms in both eyes, and my right eye was 20/30, and my left eye was 20/40, which they explained is common, and they could custom make progressive lenses for my favorite sunglasses for driving during the daytime and outdoors, Progressive lenses help with vision for both near and far distances, and work at an intermediate distance level, making working on computers and other digital devices easier, providing a more natural vision than bifocals, progressive lenses have a seamless progression from a distance, intermediate (computer distance), and reading sections without lines. I had brought one pair of sunglasses with me and left them for a total makeover. James, the store manager readjusted the glasses I provided to assure a perfect fit, along with correcting minor damage to the frames at no additional cost. The next day I dropped off another pair, and he worked his magic on them as well. These were also originally Sunglasses with minor damage; they restored them and installed prescription progressive transition lenses. Transition lenses are also called photochromic, or light-adaptive, lenses that automatically darken in sunlight and turn clear indoors. They use special dyes that react to UV rays to protect eyes by blocking 100% of UVA/UVB rays and filtering blue light, harmful blue-violet light emitted from digital devices and the sun. On February 12th when I dropped off my second pair of glasses, I was told it would take about two weeks for them to be ready. Friday, February 20th I received notification that they were ready at 3:45 PM. I immediately called and spoke with James, the store manager to verify that both pairs were ready for pick up, and said, "If I leave now, I can make it from Katy. Before the store closes" He replied, "Or you can wait until tomorrow on Saturday to pick them up, that way you don't have to deal with the rush hour traffic." He was right and I agreed with him. His consideration of Houston traffic demonstrates genuine thoughtfulness. Kindness, compassion, and exemplary service are the trifecta of excellence I received at My Eye Doctor, Missouri City, TX 77459. My Eye Doctor has 104 locations in Texas, and they are continuing to grow. I absolutely loved everything about this office. I was so confident in their ability to connect with me I let them choose my glasses! The optician is simply the best ! I generally don't go back every year however I can't wait for my next visit. NEXT YEAR

Best assortment and customer service I've had. They also have Meta glasses both Oakley and RayBan you can try on. My go to from now on for glasses and sunglasses.

I wish if there is an option to do a negative star. This office staff is totally out from thus world. Today on 9/7/2024, my son had an appointment set a month ago for his hard lense setting. I paid $$$$ (in thousands). This was his 3rd appointment. Even I confirmed my appointment twice before coming, the doctor is not here. They have wrong phone number...and many different excuses. It has been a battle on every stage. Why don't I quit this place? Because they already charged me 100% for all the appointments and treatment. I feel so much stupid and entrapped...please don't waste your money here. You life will become miserable.

10 Star! The staff here at the Missouri City MyEyeDr location is phenomenal! They were understanding and professional! The input and PATIENCE I got from Doneka on the eye glass selection was over the top! Jem, the manager and assistant to the Dr explained what each assessment evaluated, something I have never been told with previous optometry experiences! Tia, the receptionist was a sweetheart! I had previously walked out of another location because the staff were rude, two weeks prior, and made this appt. Really glad I did!! Dr Kotecha was SUPER! He listened and also explained everything, and included my input in determining what worked best for me!!! He and this location will DEFINITELY BE MY LONG TERM DR AND LOCATION , with this staff!!!

I had a very good visit with my Missouri City MyEyeDr Location. That is a wonderful group. I had new insurance that I was using And it took a few phone calls Between the insurance company and the office. it was something out of the ordinary the reason why they could not locate my information however they did it. And I appreciate that very much. They did not give up. The office is always very nice when you go in and very helpful. Jim was Very helpful with selecting my eyeglasses And not rushing me at all. And I love that because I do take a while. He also worked with me to help get a few more discounts to get some things down for pricing because my glasses are always expensive per progressives Dr Marsh is always very delicate and takes her time with checking the eyes and explaining everything Which I love. I'm not a fan of getting my eyes examined so for someone to be delicate with me I will take it. All in all if you're looking for a good eye doctor and a very good front office to deal with this is the place.

We think we've discovered the best eye care business in the metroplex. Will definitely continue to let them care for us.

I had the BEST experience at myeyeDr. Missouri city TX. I Googled this place and the good reviews is what made me call.. well I called and talked to David. I have never talked to anyone ever in customer service so nice. It was like talking to an good friend. Well David sit my appointment and I realized a few days later I needed to schedule and I talked to Bridget still great customer service. When I walked in the door she greeted me by name now mind you I'm a new patient . Now to top things off I was called back to start MY eye exam by Donica . I'm sorry I know I'm not spelling her name right but she is still AWESOME. She got me sit up for Dr. Deepak Kotecha who is very soft spoken . He explained and answered all questions I had. We also had a funny moment and I was glad to see he had a good since of humor. I tell you I have never be in ANY business and the customer service was too good to be true. I asked them was it something in the water because if so I wanted in. The world need to tap into the water system at myeyeDr Missouri city TX and learn the kindness and respect and damn good customer service they give their patients. Oh and David WILL find you some kind of discount.
