Focus 20/20

Focus 2020 was fantastic! The staff was friendly, the clinic was clean and modern, and Dr. Chen was very thorough and explained my conditions and eye health clearly. I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone needing fast, efficient, & quality eye care!

I have been coming to this office since 2015 and this is the first year I come as the guardian for my 3 siblings. The staff was really helpful, understanding, and extremely nice. Dr. Chen was also thorough with the exam and answered any questions I had regarding my vision. Definitely recommend this place for people who was a quick and thorough exam.

Went to Dr.Chen for an eye exam, and not only did she seem like she was in a rush while taking my eye exam but she was very unprofessional. I have a two year old son I brought along with me and she said that since he is not a patient, he could not be in the office. He's two, why would he be a patient, no sympathy for a mother who has no baby sitter. I had to call a busy family member just for them to watch my son for no more then five minutes when he could have just sat in the waiting area calmly watching YouTube videos like he was before Dr.Chen rushed in. I understand covid precautions, but there was another mother there with her daughter and she wasn't told anything, so why was I.

i was able to get walk in eye exam with only few minutes wait. Staff cleaned everything & doctor and staff were very nice. i got my front and back photos taken & Dr chen was patiently explaining my result. definitely recommend this office.

The employees were very nice and explained to me what they were doing during the examination. I noticed that they cleaned after every patient even the pens that were used and I thought that was very good of them to do that. I saw one of the employees cleaning the seats that were provided to us, I liked that since COVID-19 is still going around. Overall good service and would recommend.

Great eye doctor and friendly employees. Amos and Mary helped booked my eye appointment and Dr Chen explained my eye care.

I been going to Focus 20/20 for over 15 years and my son been going for 3 years. Today I was extremely disappointed in the customer service, communication, and disrespect that me and my son received. In May of 2022 my son did his annual appoint for glasses. This month (Sept. 2022) I made an appointment for my son again but this time for a contact exam. Appointment was made and we arrived today. I was told that we need to do both glasses and contacts because its a month old he had his last appointment. I told the doctor why was not explained when I made the appointment. She said "rudely" we don't know what service you need until you arrive and what you will have to pay. I told her we are only her for the contact exam and that is all that he need, she said ok. She went to exam another patient and while examining the patient, my son and I noticed that her staff was looking at us. My son said ma, they laughing and keep looking at us while we was waiting. One of the staff members asked us to follow them to get the pre-exam before the eye doctor see you. Once we was in the area, both her staff came in and said that he need to have both exams and that just they way it is. I looked at her and said didn't we just have this discussion right over there and the eye doctor said ok to just the contact exam. I notice the staff was mentioning the cost of things and the price went up from the base that was mentioned on the phone. At this point I told them never mind. I felt that they were trying to get more money and I notice she mentioned that I will need to pay for the contacts. Out of the 15+ years I been going to Focus 20/20, I never had to pay double the price and for the contacts. It was poor customer service, very poor communication, and the lack of disrespect was uncalled for. I made a decision today to no longer for myself and my son to receive service from this business. They can take my files and shred -it (really shove up their you know what). Another thing, when I called to make the appointment, I ask if we can setup a time on a Saturday like we did last time. The lady on the phone told me they don't do Saturday appointments. While in the waiting room (which is extremely small so you can hear everything) someone came in for a walk-in. She was told that they could not take her right now but she can do an appointment for tomorrow. She was able to set up an appoint which is a Saturday appointment at 1pm. I looked at my son and I said, I tried to get appoint for Saturday and they told me they don't do Saturday appointments anymore. This all made me make a decision to no longer seek services from this location. Truly disappointed, Akheeba Charles

Super nice and attentive staff, more than welcome to help out. Clean environment, and a doctor who actually cares about patients eyes. For anyone looking for a fast and effective routine eye exam for glasses or contacts I totally recommend.
