Pasadena Eye Associates - Dr. Scott Segal

Dr Segal and the person who scheduled his surgeries are crooks. They charged me for several tests, sent me to my gp to secure my ability to undergo eye surgery, etc. Then, a week before the surgery, it was postponed by them as Segal was "out of office for awhile". A MONTH went by, then I was told he's no longer doing that procedure. I could still have it done by some other doctor off Holcomb, (who had really low rated reviews) and use all the same documents. I requested all of my documentation for all of my visits, and only received a portion. It was very frustrating. I wasted my money and my time. Avoid this business

The office staff is all very nice and professional. Well, I was allowed to see Dr. Segal a few times but then got handed off to mohadit supposedly because Dr Segal was sick...all very mysterious. That's when I should have left but I trusted that any associate of Dr Segal was good. Right eye cataract went fine, left is messed up. He doesn't seem to take it very seriously...Said my brain has to adjust or I have to get used to the shadow. It's been a year! I will not go back! The doctor I'm seeing now said I have an astigmatism and it will be fixed in December. That was never mentioned by mohadit. I was told I'd have 20/20 but the left eye s 20/30, in addition to the shadow. I guess that's what I get for allowing an obvious foreigner to operate on me. When I called to cancel the next appointment the only question was if I wanted to reschedule. Oh, did I mention that I paid an extra $5,000 for the deluxe implants so I would "see like an eagle"?

Went in to get my glasses cleaned and they wouldn't even clean them for me even if I paid to get them cleaned. They just seem to have a film on them every time I clean them myself so I thought by them cleaning them good would help get them back to normal looking and I can stay fresh with new cleaning rags or something but no they didn't want to even if I paid for their services. That's very ridiculous!!!!!

I'm sure he's great. but try to get an appointment, Segal can't see you for months. *Edit* Thanks for the response from the owner, and I will hereby raise my stars to 3 because you are attentive. However even with all this I waited months to see Segal, and when I showed up they said that he actually wasn't going to be even in the country for the rest of the year, and they had me see an optometrist. OR, they said, I could reschedule for next year. It's October and I already waited like 2 months.

I had LASIK done by Dr. Segal a month ago, I am very happy with the results and how affordable it was. The procedure was short and did not cause too much discomfort. I could see great the very next day, and full recovery only took a couple of weeks. It's a pleasure to walk into the office each time! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, as well as a clean, calming atmosphere always feel welcoming. I recommend this center to everyone I know!

This was my first time to see Dr. Segal and I was truly impressed. Everyone on his staff are incredible. He has a very busy practice but during my examination he took the time to talk with me about my concerns and educate me about my eyes. It was an awesome experience and I would recommend him to everyone! Thanks Dr. Segal for caring about your patients!!

I loved my experience with Dr. Segal and his team. Everyone I interacted with at both the Pasadena and Bellaire locations was kind and courteous, and they were all ready and willing to answer any questions that I had. I was able to see Dr. Segal at each appointment, and my surgery went very smoothly. I couldn't be happier with my results!

I had a wonderful Lasik experience with Dr. Segal. He's very professional, friendly, and made himself available by cell phone after my surgery for questions and concerns. His office staff are so helpful and friendly. My mother also had Lasik done with Dr Segal and recommended him to me. I'm so grateful for my new 20/20 vision!!!!
